Nair and the like can sometimes burn "sensitive" areas, I just use my clippers every second day!
Girls love not having any hair in the mouth and are more likely to venture towards the Hershey.(if you lose the hair from the whole nether region)

I agree with X, the Venus works better than the Mach 3. But just one man's humble opinion 
BTW, there is a Nair for men, haven't tried it to polish the ol' balls, but it works well everywhere else. Doesn't burn unless you do multiple applications the same day (not recommended). Good idea to soften the hairs first with warm water, also seems to make the NaOH work better. Ladies seem to like that "clean look" and, since my TGF likes to play (incessantly) with my nipples, I occasionally surprise her with no chest hair -- good for a few laughs.

I don't have any problem with the chest hair or back hair or even facial hair. It's the ole marbles that I have to trim up.
I have never tried the nair. Might have to give it a shot. Why would they make nair for men? It probably doesn't burn cuz they know we will be shining up the bean bag. You could use regular nair on your chest and back and where ever else you would use it.
I will definitely have to head to the market and pick some up.
I will post the results on the burn factor.

NO! NO! NO! DONT DO IT!!!! For once I am being very very serious.
NaOH will burn your skin on contact. NaOH is basically what goes into those things that are used to dissolve organic matter clogging pipes. I am not sure if NaOH is one of the products that goes into whatever it is that we are talking about. NaOH will eat flesh, so no need to soften hairs with soft water.

Looks like you've had a bit of chemistry too, ha! Yes, NaOH is a strong base that does a real number on just about verything. That's why the stuff smells so bad as it's tearing apart the hydrogen atoms in your hairs. But the directions on Nair clearly state that the areas to be torched should be wetted first.
I do, however, recommend also following the directions about not using an abrasive pad to wipe away the hairs. A soft cloth works well and tends to leave your skin (more or less) intact.

BTW, I think (speculating here) that the reason they want you to wet the area is that the hair preferentially absorbs the water and so tends to direct the NaOH more to the hair. (CJ is a biochemist, maybe he can weigh in on this.) The stuff appears to burn the hair down a bit below the skin line (into the follicle), which is probably why you don't get a five o'clock shadow as quickly as with shaving.
Anyway, I'm still alive and have most of my skin intact, so it seems to work as directed.
