Ok this girl is doing my head in.
She, over the past few days, keeps sending me the texts I send her back to me with the names changed. For example if I say "Hi XXXX, I was just thinking about you, I wish I could see you. OOOO" she sends back "Hi OOOO, I was just thinking about you, I wish I could see you. XXXX" She has done it with 3 texts now... and it's not always right after either. She phoned me this morning, I was asleep so I missed the call and I literally haven't had a chance to call her back yet. So I texted her saying I will call her back soon. So she sends me a text I sent her 3 days ago with the names changed?
What the hell does this mean? Is she taking the piss, or can she just not understand and she is guessing that I am saying good things and she thinks this will show she shares my feelings?

She might be takin' the piss but it's more likely that GATOR420 is correct and she is a bit short on the Englander skills!
I've experienced the same thing as you with a few BGs and after talking to them they said that they thought that if I had said it to them then it would be a nice thing to say back! One BG a while ago finished a TXT with 555. I asked her if she knew what 555 meant, she hadn't a clue but she thought that it would be a nice thing to....etc.

manage your expectations. I agree a lot of girls have no idea what they are saying other than I miss u, I love u and then, it doesn't really have they depth as when we say it. Rely on your phone calls and meeting to tell her feelings but still, keep your guard up.
I got a great email today:
"I know u call me but my phone no work. I miss u mak mak." talk about a contradiction in terms!

I'm new to all this, I'm only 18 and I've been to Thailand twice.... I am keeping my guard up.
I phone her quite a lot and I always want to say things to her but I clam up like an idiot. I talk to her, but I always have some things I want to say before I call llike how I feel about her and how much I miss her but it's hard to say.... do you think I should just say the stuff to her or she will think I'm an idiot?
I know a lot of you here are veterans in this stuff (well I get that impression)...
I need to ask something but I don't really want to make a new topic, maybe you guys can help me?
I want to go back and see her ASAP, so I am saving up cash to try and go back early next year (ideally Jan-Feb). I live in the UK, how much money do you reckon I will need to go out there for 2 weeks? I know you can't give an exact amount obviously as you don't know exactly what I will be doing, but I'm talking about flight/hotel/money to take her out and stuff like that - how much does it cost you guys to go out on trips to Thailand?

I've stayed in Pattaya for 1K per day. It can be done. If you come back in Jan/Feb you will be in the high season and the costs go up. Better to come back in March.

Slow down a bit. Get on the internet and search for fares, hotel rates etc. and create a budget for yourself.
Then figure out how much you need for drinks and food per day.
Then figure out how much for barfines (read in the BTF for details) per day.
Then add all of these amounts and multiply by 3 and you will begin to see how much you need.
One other tip, Thai women are light years ahead of men in playing the game. Watch you heart as much as your wallet or you will lose both.
Lastly, make sure your airticket is changeable. That way when you completely run out of money, you can change plans and go back early. Save BT 500 for the departure tax.
