Agree with Bim here. I have never had trouble with Nana parking lot FL's, well not that I can recall, age thing you know. The greater % have stayed LT and that goes with most FL's and take-aways from bars.
I do not carry a lot of cash with me, thats kept in the safe, but I do leave the wallet and cheap mobile on the table. When they leave I know where they are and never had a problem, untouched. If they do happen to wake up early and do the runner with them, well I am not going to lose sleep over it. More to life than worrying over incidentals.
If you treat them right and not as a piece of meat, they are fantastic ladies. Well that is my experience with BKK ladies and people should take the advice of Bim not mine.

One shouldn't be overly surprised that your wallet was untouched. FL girls they may be, but they have great self-respect. One of the FLs once took 100 baht from me to go get a condom (before we moved from the parking lot) and she returned with the condom and the change.
Another time a girl from one of the NEP bars spent the whole night in my room and late in the morning, long after she had left, I realised she had left a plastic bag behind with her dance costume in it. That night I went over to the bar and handed over the bag to a mutual friend. I do not know if that was a stupid thing to do but I could think of no other way to return it to her.

Absolutely right KaymanX, most girls wouldnt even consider stealing anything, I mean the thought wouldn't even cross their minds. I have woken up and realized I had left all sorts of valuable laying around all of which remained unmolested. Heck, I even leave the girls to keep on sleeping in the room while I go out and do my dirty deeds. One time while I was at a MP, the girl who I left behind in my room sent me an SMS that she was borrowing 15b from my change pile to catch the BTS (nice touch). Of course not all girls are like that and if they did rip me off, I would have noone to blame but myself.
Honestly, its not the Thais you have to worry about being ripped off from, its the freakin foreigners!! I put down my sunglasses at my table and went for a swim (at my hotel) and when I came back, they were stolen by the greasy foreigner guy that was sittng at the next table over. Who the hell steals sunglasses? F*ckin Eurotrash thats who!!!

Having waded through this whole thread from December 2003 to the present time, it struck me that the main categorization of ladies in the Nana Car Park fall into four and a half types.
One : The out and out professional freelancer who only works the streets or Thermae or the Suk or the Nana Car Park, be they clean, good, honest, stunning, ugly, average, addicted, thieving, scamming or rip-offs.
Two : Girls out for the night and some dancing and drinking and possibly open, depending on who is asking, to some sugggestions for a bit of fun with some financial reward.
Three : The ladies who work at a bar or go-go and may or may not have already had a customer or two, but who is prepard to take on another one or two or three before the dawn and some sleep before the bar opens again.
Four : The ladies who work during the day at some ordinary job for between 3,000 baht and 6,000 baht per month and who find that difficult to live on,as we all would, and so, to supplement her income she is prepared to earn some more in this way.
And the half who make up the remainder of the lot, is made up of the katoeys and lady-boys.
Some guys ask what is the going rate.
There is a general agreement about the rate amongst some customers and some, but only some ladies, but it is definitely not fixed and fluctuates according to the time and place and the competition both of customer numbers and lady numbers, available in the market at the time.
I raise this aspect merely because it might have a determining effect on your decision as to what to offer, and what to give which in most cases hopefully would be higher, depending on from which category she comes from.
One need not be looking out for the stories of desperation in which you would be helping out with the medication for some sick child in hospital or the vet's expenses at treating the buffalo back home who got his left testicle caught in the school inspector's bicycle wheel spokes while the guy was shagging the school-mistress over the hedge.
Just a little consciousness of who they are as people, as opposed to getting them off the meat-hook, shagging them and letting them go without a single educated and privileged thought on your part.
Just a thought.

Frankly for me there are only 2 categories, those I am interested in and those I have no interest in. From there it's just about price and service negotiation.
I must admit that I don't give a lot of thought to their individual circumstances but nor would I expect or want them to give a thought to my circumstances.
Each to their own I guess.

Precisely. But I do find from experience that a little consideration and care while being with them goes a long long way to motivate them and also to make our experience more satisfying.
