I saw the light on there still. They could be open until the court date. Waittresses got tickets, I heard about handcuffs being used.
Sunday School was on last night. Good crowd early on, didn't get too packed thereafter.

The waitresses got tickets for serving alcohol after 2:00 am. The cops came in right after 2:00 AM asking for the manager. They determined that there wasn't any management after questioning the girls. Not sure who was handcuffed as that's second hand information. I was one of the first to skip out after the bust and decided it was best to get away while I could.
They will probably be open until their court date. They might just receive probation but definitely no after hours action from here on unless they are crazy. Good information about restaurants and licenses on this site here: http://www.abc.ca.gov/datport/LQSMenu.html

A friend of mine was at one of the TOT busts. He said everyone suddenly forgot how to speak English! 
Edit: Good link badfishlbc! We would never have to pay state income taxes if fines were collected every time this happened: Charge: PMT'D FEMALE EMPLOYEE TO SOLICIT A/B FOR OWN CONSUMPTION (a violation at the Korean hostess bar before they transferred the license to Relax).

Songkran here is barely celebrated. You got some people with their water pistols running around the restaurants and bars but that's about it...

I guess you didn't actually make it down to Thai Town during Songkran last year, when the whole strip was shut down by a HUGE festival and celebration, with stands, food, Muay Thai, etc....

No I didn't make it till after the celebration. Everything was dead at night. My friend had a foodstand out there selling meatballs and when I asked him how it was, he said it sucked so I took his word for it. Maybe in comparison to how it is in Thailand it sucks is what he meant. But everything done Thai here cannot compare to how it is in LOS.
