This is day one ,
I have been married for 8 years to a thai , I returned home on the friday to find all of my savings had been withdrawn from my bank and my wife had gone , I knew she was back to playing cards , last time cost me 280,000 baht overnight now enough was enough.
I waited until the Sunday for her to return home she never did , pissed off , I headed for sukhumvit alone for a beer to drown my sorrows , I wondered into a bar on the corner of asoke / soi cowboy , on the main crossroads , Popeyes bar , run by scouse John he wasn't there so I sat and started on the bevy ,Then she arrived ,mini skirt , t-shirt and cardigan , playng 2 guys at the bar at the same time , I watched her work for about one hour and wondered why a girl so beautiful , intelligent and clearly street wise was working in a bar like this ,no custumers , nothing ,probably one of the worst bars in Bangkok to meet a woman , but good for a beer , Then I thought f_ck it , I grabbed a waitress and sent her across a drink ,she wondered across still playing the 2 guys ,drink in hand kissed my check and whispered in issan I love you ( kaow mak jai ) corny but it worked ,she was electric , she had presences , you knew she was there , I asked her name , she looked at me straight in the eyes and said GAOW.
This was the begining ,this is her story .
