Hi Forsa,
Like you I have been here a while mainly as a lurker, though I live here and have a great job. I'm not going to say anything that hasn't already been said, but it will go to reinforce others' advice.
BG's are not bad people, but they do what they do for money. This isn't necessarily a bad thing; in fact, I can find it more admirable than what most men do it for. Men do P4P for sex, pure and simple. Nothing wrong with that (as long as the BG is an adult and its consensual), but the BG's do it to support their families. Quite often its their own kids who live with their parents in the Isaan where they spent 40 years working in the rice fields.
Some of you will disagree that some BG's do bad things. You take any percentage of the tens of thousands of working girls in this town and you'll get hundreds of problems. But this forum is also one-sided. You don't think a customer has ever attempted to f*** over a BG? I have yet to see a thread where someone talks about a good way to scam a BG.
If you want a relationship, stay away from BG's. BG's are great for a single encounter but if you want great sex with the same person and a real relationship you need to look elsewhere.
Now for the good news: they are everywhere. Bangkok has far more women than men living here. The universities in Bangkok are attended by far more women than men as well. Try starting a conversation with a woman that works at any nice hotel and then ask them out for a cup of coffee; I will be surprised if they do not say yes. Or chat it up in Starbucks. Or on the Sky Train. Or at the Night Bazaar. You are not going to get laid on the first date, but if you are looking for something more than instant satisfaction I have yet to find a more accommodating country than Thailand.
I believe it was Larry Flynt who best described why he paid a woman for sex. He said he paid $200 USD for a gorgeous woman to f*** him all night; the next morning, she left. He noted that the key words were "she left". He wasn't paying for the sex; he was paying for her to leave afterwards with no commitments, no hangups, no future problems. Fortunately you can get this experience for a lot less than $200 USD in Bangkok; just keep in mind what it is you are really paying for.

Haven't seen a specific thread on that point but I know it has been spoken as I wrote it on some thread. Get a girl new to p4p and pay her in foreign currency and tell her its worth more than what its worth. She finds out when she goes to exchange that she just f***ed someone for about 200 baht. While thats a good one, I can't take the credit for it, it was a thai taxi driver who was having a great ole laugh about imagining the girl at the exchange booth. After he was able to control his laughter, he managed to support his position about some rubbish about how all tg's lie and try to f*** you and he simply returned the favour.
I could link the thread if you REALLY want to verify what I've said.

It always surprises me with attitudes like this, that anyone really bothers complaining about the way BGs behave.
(Incidentally if you do f*** her sister and/or friends at least they will be able to understand why she is now with someone else)

Any guy who thinks he can normalize a P4P girl is in store for a lot of work and troubles at best. Keep P4P girls for recreational use, and you will be fine. These girls are use to making a whole lot more money then normal girls, and it is habit that is too hard to break. That is unless you are financing them on an equal level to match it.
Guys tend to think "This girl is different", when they need to be telling themselves "I am no different", No different to these P4P girls then the next Farang guy to land in BKK. There is an endless supply.
Keep your emotions in check with these girls you are paying for.
I reccomend you don't meet anyone that knows that girl. What is the use. It is over, move on dude, there are plenty of good TGs out there.

Wow, there sure are some conflicting opinions on this board… sure got me thinking. It’s almost like both sides are describing a no-win situation. If I had stepped up to the plate and supported her while I couldn’t be with her, I still ran a high risk of her playing me and continuing to f*** other farangs for baht. Catch 22.
Question for you… why do you think she never gave me the “sick buffalo” or “sick mother” money plea? This seems to contradict almost everyone’s postings here… why did she never ask for or readily take my money, yet turned to working the bar to find a sponsor/husband?
I’ve been emailing back and forth with her friend last 2 days trying to get more info – and of course I am sure my ex-tilac is sitting right next to her while she does this. Probably pointless, but I’m also trying to have her convince my girl to email me, explain and gain closure personally. She claims the husband is very jealous and wouldn’t understand – I told her use another email account.
As for f***ing her friend – guys, you have to see this girl… yeeesh, homely doesn’t even begin to describe her… her sister on the other hand mmmmm! But I will probably heed the advice here and stay clear.
I didn’t mention, but I will be stopping in the Philippines (amongst other countries) before LOS. New can of worms there I would think.

What is it with Western people and this incessant need for 'closure'?? She's got 'closure', she's moved on.
I really feel that what you are trying to do more than anything else is dealing with the fact that you screwed up (in not so many words) and that you are somehow trying to undo what is your fault, in a way.
