You say she demanded the 100k, was that as a result of you asking her to return or even asking her how much she would take to return? Or did she just call you and offer to come back for 100k?
If she offered to come back then it shows she was willin' to negotiate (a clear buyin' signal!) but if you asked her to return then she had you on a hook and was probably enjoying tormentin' you.
IMHO, you're well out of that relationship.

Just a one sided view....
In my 12 odd years in Thailand I had multiple year long relationships with thai girls.
I've never 'paid' ('contributed') more than 5000 baht per month and even in some relationships no money at all was involved and the girl contributed to the household.
These were not 'desperate' ugly girls...
I guess it's what you make out of it....

Thanks, but I'd kinda figured that much.
The way it worked was that she figured she could live with me AND work in a bar without me noticing. I worked it out on the first night. Not exactly difficult.
I informed her I didn't want her living with me if she was going to work in a bar so she told me how much she required.
This was bar number three. I'd already dragged her out of two bars.
I now hire her l/t occasionally but frankly since she is obviously looking for a richer farang I have been looking for a better companion.
It looks like we've both found what we're looking for. That is assuming "David" has Bht 100,000 per month to spare. What looks to be my next liaison is a normal human being.
Oh and the Russian wasn't a p4p. I understand now why Russian men drink.

I would say that I HATE stereotypes. I would be a rich man now if I had a dollar for everyone who told me to ditch this girl without even meeting her.
I am certainly left with the impression that BG's are a waste of time, but having explored a relationship with one in considerable depth I can at least say WHY these girls are a waste, rather than repeating some mantra learnt from bar-stool conversations.

Ok It's about their surroundings. In many cases the only people they know are all working in bars. My lady-friend has changed her appearance to resemble that of another (highly unsuccessful) bargirl. Why? Because that girl has been in the job longer..... as indeed will madam now. When I first met her I could have easily taken her to a quality restaurant and she would have passed for an office-girl.
Now she has "BAR GIRL" written all over her. She even talks about a tattoo and a boob-job. You can't take her anywhere nice.
I reckon another six months and she will begin stealing from customers.
Her friends do it regularly.
It's all about peer pressure.

as a newcomer to bkk I think the bg relationship works as long as the dollars keep flowing their way. and I mean this in a good way. a lot of guys may be trying to find things in a bargirl that r just not there. btw nana plaza is a great place to have a good time.
