The reason why we have so many girls working to trying to support there babies that they do not know anything about condoms and pills out in the rice field and there is not much to do out there then just that. They plant the rice and then wait a few month for its to grow in the mean time they sleep or make babys.

Explain the high pregnancy rate, then?
It has nothing to do with being 'backward' if someone is ignorant, or, unaware of a process.
Unlke in the US, where the high teen pregnancy rate is explained by utter stupidity, I can see how family planning, and reproductive education are not prioritized as highly in some parts of Thailand.

Pregnancy rate explanation... Thai culture puts pressure on newly weds for grand-children more quickly than western culture ( I am only qualified to judge on Aussie culture). These children will grow up and hopefully get jobs to support grand-parents etc in old age or at least work on the family farm.
The reason so many P4P ladies have children is Thailand doesn't have any form of "child support" unlike Australia where I pay approx US$ 1,200 per month.

None of this makes sense...
The pregnancy question was about p4p demographics, not newlyweds (there is pressure on all newlyweds to produce children in nearly all cultures).
The lack of child support does not explain the high pregnancy rate, as if the existence of child support rules somehow would instill more responsibility IN THE WOMEN...???
