What you are referring to as Crystal Meth is better known in this part of the world as Ice or Shabu (Jap name). Hugegantic problem in the Philippine though ones should wonder why... maybe the jap did imported the knowledge to the locals. Anyway, Yaa Baa is a similar product but it includes Caffeine as well and some other dirt shit. Caffeine when burned makes this strong & bad smell.

I bar fined the same bar girl in Chiang Mai a couple of times when I was there in November, 2005. I kept in touch with her and last November went back to see her again. I spent a full 2 weeks with her.
One night on the last trip she told me about a couple of 'problems' that she had. She wanted to tell me she said because she wanted to be honest with me about what she was like and that her job sometimes made her abit 'crazy' which led to these 2 following incidents. The first can hardly be termed a 'fight' if you believe literally what she told me (although I suspect there was abit more to it than that), but both it and the second one certainly give abit of an insight into bar girl mentality etc :
'Problem' No. 1
My girl went to a disco with some of her bar girl friends late one night. Inside the disco another girl stood on my girl's foot (accidentally) and I guess hurt her a little bit. My girl took exception to this and asked the other girl to apologise. She refused, saying it was an accident, it was dark, there were alot of people etc. My girl then said she wanted to talk to the other girl outside. The girl asked if my girl would have a 'problem' with her if she said no. My girl said yes she would have a 'problem' with her if she didn't come outside. They both then proceeded to round up their various friends and went outside. The other girl rang the Police before she did so, however, because she saw that my girl had far more friends with her than she did and she was worried that they would all gang up on her.
Outside my girl again asked the other girl to say sorry, but again she refused. My girl was wearing high heels so she then dug one of her heels into the other girl's foot. The Police then arrived and the girls indulged in the usual playground antics of blaming each other - 'she hurt me first', 'but then she hurt me as well' etc. The Police told them to go home and sleep. The incident then finished.
That's my girl's version anyway. I asked if anything else happened and whether she'd missed anything out. She said she had not. I left it at that.
Seems to me though that abit more probably occurred. I'm inclined to think the digging in of the heel prompted a punch up which the Police probably broke up. (My girl didn't let on how long it took the Police to get there). She also said that she thought the other girl was probably drunk. If they see each other in town now the other girl avoids her too (eg not going in the same shop etc if she sees her).
Any thoughts on whether I only got the 'edited' version? Methinks my girl didn't want to go as far as admitting that she brawled in the street with another girl.
'Problem' No. 2
My girl and afew of her friends were sitting in front of their bar late one night. A drunken farang went past and swore at them. He came back abit later and abused them again. The girls reacted to this and decided to go after him to teach him a lesson etc. They caught up with him near the moat and had a punch up. They managed to hurt him abit, but the upshot of it all was that he managed to throw all the girls into the moat. He then called the Police. After giving false names etc all the girls, including my girl, spent the night in a police cell.
So they are her 2 'problems'. Any comments?
Incidentally I'm still in contact with her. She reckons that she's so enamoured of me that she's now left the bar, has moved to a female only apartment block and is working in a book shop. Her income has dropped obviously and she's now thinking about getting a second job too - in a restaurant perhaps.

If you got only the edited version, isn't that enough to wave some red flags?
In both instances, by her own telling, she was spoiling for a fight. I wouldn't get near her with ten-foot pole, no matter how hot she is (in addition to her being obviously hot-headed).
Stick around, and one day (night) she will get you mixed up into her temper crap, and if you are farang you will wind up in much deeper shit in her country than she posibly ever could.
