I would say that the majority are drinking into oblivion before they engage a girl for intercourse because they are scared to commit to the deal.
Typical Western guy enters a place where he knows he can have sex with any girl in there just by nodding his head... This is a situation the deprived creature never had before in all his born days... Especially during those young years when his sexuality was so impressionable and new...
Instead what was stamped forever on his memory was a code of erotic famine, biological desperation and rejection by masculine females.

The anticipation is prolonged. But unfortunately prolonged to the point where the majority can't handle themselves anymore. Only at that extreme point are they deliriously convinced it's time to let someone else handle them--in all their red verge's rage...

Well, there's that - also, most guys that drink do so, as they are simply scared of sober confrontations, or are so socially inept that they prefer to 'blame the alcohol' on their (to them) funny escapades while inebriated... and then there's those who are simply too dumb to put the glass down at the right time... Maybe its more of an Oz thing but not drinking beer, our national drink, just so you might enjoy more the f*** you might get later was never how anyone I know ever approached a night out -not in a farangland, not in LOS (even though there the f*** was a sure thing).
In Thailand we also drink beer because the place where the thai girls who will spend time with us are located is called a BAR (Beer And Recreation) and we go there for both...well I do (did?).
Go to a bar or a gogo and drink water ? Jeez, what advice is that, this thread sounds like one of those public service announcements - you don't need alcohol to have a good time, etc, drink responsibly blah blah.

History has decreed mine to be Coca Cola. The caffeine improves my stiffy. Moreso than beer. But I see what you mean. More power to you. As a very few number of members of this board can attest to, I too enjoy the occasonal elation of getting high on booze. So high that there is no longer any separation between the objects around me and they form a constant environment surging with palpable life. Almost like walking around in a big cave which is a beautiful girl's pink ass in the night!
