You worry too much.
Speaking for myself, I was only refuting the idea that "it's the environment that's at fault, not the individual". That's got to be false, otherwise you'd never have nice bargirls... and I have known a few (including the #23 at Shark I mentioned).
So it's not absolutely necessary to do horrible things... if one girl can maintain a sort of integrity, then others can. I think it's lazy reasoning to blame the environment for such things. The environment doesn't dictate everything. People have choices. Even in the worst environments, they can make certain decisions and they're defined by them. That's my view of life anyway...
As for freely entering the industry or ot, girls can say many things. They can give you many reasons why they entered and why they stayed. They'll have reasons they tell their friends and different reasons they tell punters and yet more different reasons they tell guys who think they may be more than punters. They may even have reasons they tell themselves. You'd have to live with them and observe them for quite a long time to decide for yourself if these reasons are true. You can then see the difference between what they say and what they do. So many claim to want out. Yet how many do we see stay even when they're given other plausible choices?
It's hard to conclude that most girls are 'forced' into the industry when their childhood friends, neighbours, even sisters, of the same social and financial standing, don't work in it. From my experience, I think that most girls that we see are attracted freely to the money and then get stuck in a web of money, excitement at financial independence, peer and family pressure, that keeps them there. First they just wanted enough to pay for college. Then they've done that and suddenly want to work for longer, to get a car, a house, a plane...
OK, not a plane.  But they get caught in that web. First it's just a small house they want for themselves. Then they'll want one for mother and aunt. It's now just cash. The college degree they went into the bars to help pay for is long forgotten.
But the web they're caught in is of their own making.

I would have thought that your own personal knowledge of places like Lolita's and the Star of Light, both bj bars, would have given you the definte and verified information that these places are populated by sisters, cousins, aunts and in one case, a daughter.
So I wouldn't have thought it would have been hard for you to draw another conclusion.
As for planes, I've always wondered why a lot of the girls at Nana go on their days off for F-111 fighter-pilot training. I was beginning to think that all they wanted was experience of performing under a greater G-force.

Nope. That's the easy conclusion, not necessarily the right one. The fact that any business has relatives in the same company doesn't mean any relative was compelled to join that company or even work in the same industry.
Why do girls have relatives in bars? Because they want money and a relative who happens to work in a bar and is seen to have money tells them about it. They then make their choice. It doesn't imply any family compulsion at all.
I know how some girls were introduced to bars. In each case, they weren't forced. They were simply told by a 'friend' or a relative of a place where they could earn lots of money. Were they interested? In each case, they knew what they'd have to do. There was a big downside to this money. Could they take it? There was no compulsion to enter or to stay. They wanted money so they tried it and found they liked it (or rather, they liked the money, the independence, etc). So they stayed.

Joe, I think we've killed the thread...
To get back to the point, Original poster, you're worrying too much about a one-off. Call her again. Unless she says otherwise on the phone, assume it's the usual 2000B price. If, when she arrives or at any time after, she brings up 2500B (which I think is unlikely) and you don't want to pay this, remind her that you paid an extra 500 last as a gesture of kindness because she said she was short on her rent. Chances are she'll agree, she'll see your limit and she'll continue to see you on that basis. If she's got other guys who pay more, she might prioritise them but she'll prioritise you over guys that pay less. It's easy, isn't it? No need to "think about simply not calling on her again" based on a one-off! Give the girl a chance!

But an open society does not have to be a moral free for all.There are moral principles which are so widely held as to be regarded of almost universal application.They provide the necessary social glue essential for basic law and order without which any society cannot function.
Basic moral principles are sufficiently robust to permit the introduction of some grey,along with the black and white,in complex situations where what is unambiguously right is not obvious even to persons of good will.

Very entertaining read.
Off topic for the most part. It is still good to see that things change, but things stay the same, always the same "Dick size contest" going on and when some don't have anything to bring to the discussion/topic, they make sarcastic and personal remarks about the poster (usually in a negative way).
As for the OP, well, If he gave the 2,500 then it shows he could afford it and was willing to give it away. The question is wether he saw this same lady after the incident and how much did he pay her? did she try to pull the same story again?
That is what would interest me

About two years ago I posted that on balance this Forum would be poorer without his contributions.That is still my view.
