THis is not intended to be critical - I realize that was meant to be a tongue-in-cheek remark.
But it really goes a lot deeper than that. (I know - bad pun). First most would agree on the basics that male/female transgender cases are generally a "woman trapped in a man's body".
But was it really a 'man's' body to begin with, even though it was born with male genetalia. Much more needs to be taken into account.
One of my major life-lessons was on a visit to my university's medical research center, - hundreds of fetuses preserved in jars - each or the other with one arm, no legs, three eyes, everything conceivable - including dual sexual genetals. It's not a bg stretch to realize what all might have survived - we see those deformed limbs and faces amongst us and we have sympathy, but have little idea of the extent of hidden sexual internal or mental aberrations for which we seem to have only scorn.
Given the cards this one individual was dealt at birth, followed by the trauma of later removal of all male anatomy, plus massive Hormone Replacement Therapy of Estrogen, Progestin, Anti-Androgen and what all else, it is not at all clear to me that "it is still a dude". In fact I wonder if 'it' might not be more feminine now than most 'normal' women.
I would be inclined to believe that the only one who could answer that is the transgendered person. And I believe the major test might be whether or not 'she' enjoys reminiscing of fantasies of former male sexuality or is at peace with her feminine self.
Ther's an old American Indian saying: "Walk a mile in another man's mocassins before criticizing him."
We should try to be selective in not jumping to judge every individual by the characteristics or actions of others in their group. Please forgive the sermon - I am as much trying to lecture myself.

Great points.
It's easy to dismiss the grey areas here.
But for me, it was glaringly obvious that the female aspects were incredible to not acknowledge.....she looked, acted, conducts herself with the composure of a female...
No male attributes whatsoever....
She is strikingly beautiful......
Luckily she is certified as female, as if the crims got her she would be buggered and rape all day long.

... DG, the Thai media has in recent years been increasingly reporting on katoeys and their legal gender status... under the current law, katoeys Thai ID's show them as men... that is the law.
... I could be mistaken, but I imagine the policy for Thai passports would be the same... if your love interest's passport identifies 'it' (your word, not mine) as a woman, you might want to dig a bit deeper into this.
... maybe a long shot here, but this could be a comedy of errors.

Well maybe it's "who you know ?"" And/or other stuff, I know Singapore was a place she worked also at in business....but the passport is definitely Thai national and marked as Female...the photo is also hers.....
But thanks, I have been deceived once already, if the passport was altered for my benefit it would most likely be "" all to much"" for me.
The other situation would be if she was always a she, and playing some f***ed up game ( can't think of why?) that would mean something too.
Basically, I will have to bridge that question without too much offence.
I have heard of money being able to buy special Thai treatment.
Remember the murder charges dropped on people ?
The Million baht special Thai visa purchases they sold ?
And sudden Thai agreement in matters for 100,000 baht when your in trouble.
Half the English teachers they say didn't have correct diplomas but avoided the red tape...
