Well when it comes to Thai society we run into even more ambiguity: The popular media is flooded with images of young females and the ideal of beauty is that of an adolescent. For one example if you look at the TV stars the new ones are always teenagers. You have 16 year olds playing the lead in the soap opera (portraying grown women). What does that say about the appeal of young women and the acceptance of that appeal?

Back to the topic at hand. The girl is most likely easily over 18. The vast majority of Asian women look younger than what they are. I work for a clothing manufacturing company here in china and som eof the girls i see working behind machines in factories look 12 or 13, but i always ask for ID and they are usually 21-25.
I have a saying that generally applies to most asian women. --They look 14 until they are 30, then they look 50 until they die. --or something to those lines anyway. anyone agree?

You do know that I was making a comment about age difference as much as I was about how young Mrs.Joe looks.
But you are a complete pervert. That goes without saying. (I probably wouldn't like you as much as I do if you weren't.) 
It's easy to think they don't notice -- and I suspect they may not as much as we do -- but I think it's usually the "water off the duck's back" syndrome. Generally speaking I'd say if a sincere Thai lady cares about you, she don't give a damn who looks -- especially falang gapers.

I am sure that there are exceptions to everything. ÝWhat I meant was that, although I can certainly fantasize about Anna Kournikova, the reality would likely be disappointing. ÝJust too damned young. ÝEye candy, yes. ÝAnd when they are young enough for me to think "She's young enough to be my daughter" it's a big turn off for me. ÝIf I didn't have a daughter this thought might not cross my mind. ÝI'm 40, so 25 is technically but not pragmatically young enough to be my daughter. ÝSo that's where I (usually) draw the imaginary line.
Ironically, one of my TG won't tell me her age; I think it is because she's afraid I'll think her too old. ÝI don't care what age she is, she's sweet and she looks fine. ÝBut I am damned curious. ÝI also knew one in Germany who is a few months older than me. ÝBut at a first glance a westerner might mistake her for a teenager. ÝUp close you can tell, but I imagine when we went out there was more than one western female shaking her head at the old perv out with the young girl!
