I have noothing but good things to say about VONAGE (http://www.vonage.com). If you have DSL, and you make frequent oversea calls, VONAGE is the way to go.
Uses your existing DSL, lets you make standard phoone calles. Thailand mobile, $0.14; Thailand landline, $0.08. Can't be beat.

that always had me wondering, how 'some' thai girls liked the older farangs they met, because they were established, settled, maybe had some cash, good job and lifestyle etc and being older and settld, more faithful. What gets me is that all the guys that come here, older and younger, certainly ain't settled and certainly ain't faithful. All the ones that they want are back home being faithful in their own country.

Years ago I made a date with a "non-bg" from the internet. We wrote over the course of several months and had a few phone calls. During our first dinner she went on a diatribe on what she won't do:
