Allow me to elaborate, lest you think I am merely dissing a "competitor"
First of all we have found out the hard way that nightlife girls make poor, very poor raw material for training as Dommes. It doesn't work, or so very rarely works that it isn't worth qualifying the statement.
Therefore we do not recruit from the bars, abnams, escorts etc.
My understanding, from my own sources not this forum, is that Gaow had a background in the nightlife business.
Secondly, a reading of her website indicated that she was self avowedly a sub or switch not a Domme. Dommes do not offer to drink cum, Dommes do not offer to take it in the ass. BDSM is not about sex, very certainly not about unsafe sex, and professional Dommes are generally pretty unattainable. Gaow was cash and carry.
male subs by and large are not especially interested in coming in a Domme's mouth or f_cking a Domme in the ass. Conversely, bona fide male Tops (Masters) pride themselves on not being of need of a PAID sub female or three, they get a lot of volunteers for free.
So Gaow (or her promoters) did not understand these basic matters, they repulsed male subs with all the talk about the submissive play she was willing to do. And the Dominant males that were worth attracting also stayed away.
That leaves only the phony wannabe Dom Males who can't get subs on their own. Now, if you were a female sub would you want to go to a hotel room with a sackful of toys and when the door closes you are with a -- what? Anything, potentially.
We not only don't do female sub sessions, with rare exceptions -- we don't do outcalls EVER, only incalls, there's really far too much equipment to haul around, and here we can control the security situation. Not so in a hotel, which we regard as absurd.
It takes a rather long time for a Domme to get up to speed in her profession, so we wonder where Gaow got her training (if any)? Of course anyone can just hang out their shingle on the Internet (and many who are incompetent do) and call themselves Mistress Anthrax oor whatever, but as someone said once, pretending to tap dance doesn't make you Fred Astaire.

From your perspective I can see why you scoff. Nonetheless, I have to agree with JJ that there are plenty of guys who (would) enjoy pseudo-BDSM with a sub and don't have the opportunitywith someone except maybe their GF/spouse or time to cultivate such a relationship with someone)-thus the need for instant sub for hire (just add water!). MG would seemed to have filled that role nicely.

JJ, at CJ the Dommes quite routinely offer exploratory session to subs (or potential subs) who have never had a professional session before, or any kind of a session before.
It takes all kinds to make a world.
We get experienced subs who play lightly, and we get old leatherbutt panpigs who aren't happy till their underwear is stained red when they leave. Sessions are ALWAYS tailored to the experience level, preferences, limits, medical condition, and fantasies of the sub. That is accomplished with checklists before the session and interview on arrival, the results are given to the Dommes in writing. The sub also has safe words and signals he can employ to stop session if things are going in the wrong direction, or to signal foir the Dommes to back off a bit, if it seems to the sub that the Dommes have not noticed that they are approaching his limits (but neither situation is likely.) Part of learning to be a Top is to be able to empathize with the sub and know when it is time to back off. Imagine the "envelope" of sensations as an island, and the game is to push the sub as close to the edge of the various cliffs as possible but without having him fall over...the complicating wrinkle is that the island is always growing larger, the cliffs moving further away as the sub's limits change. That is the challenge to the Domme(s).
Incidentally as a matter of policy we specialize here in sessions of a half day (12 hours), and longer. This is really, a series of shorter sessions of 3-4 hours interspersed with meals, drinks (alcoholic or not), rest and conversation. People just don't play for 12 hours or longer, continuously, it would be far too gruelling. But anyway after 5 years and a thousand or so people and a 70% repeat rate, ongoing, we know that people really respond well to this style, as compared to the typical 60-90 minute session in the US or Europe or Australia, that that is part of the basis of our success. The average session is 1.5 to 2 days and longest so far 6 days to a week.
The 12 hr session is always 2 Dommes, usually an experienced one and a helper who is learning the skills. This also gives the sub double the chances of 'clicking' with at least one of them. The 24 hrs (or longer) sessions can be with a single Domme, usually, though this is after the sub knows which Domme he really prefers.
14 hrs/1 Domme and 12 hrs/2 Dommes are same price, logically enough. That is 16,000 baht. Sounds like a lot in Bkk, but, in the US a single hour with 1 Domme can be that much $250-$300 anyway, and without even any guarantee that the Domme will be very good.
Mistress Christie, who used to work here under another name, and who is quite good, a RN actually, only does shorter sessions of 2 hours or 4 hours, and is rather picky about hours -- usually weekday afternoons are it. I believe she charges 6000 baht for 2 hours but to be certain one should ask her directly. She doesn't work for us anymore but we are on very cordial terms -- she has been known to come back and abuse me on my birthday as a present, for example.
There is yet another dungeon in town but while the woman in charge used to be here part time, we don't recommend her at all.
By the way the tale of Gaowls setting a sub on fire with rubbing alcohol and a candle is a nightmare, and quite inexcusible breach of safety. There IS such a thing as fire play, and a use for flaming alcohol in traditional cupping (drawing blood to the skin surface a la a hickey, by vacuum) but these are very dangerious sorts of play and difficult to perform safely, and IMHO inappropriate in a commercial setting. Fireless cupping can be done with a hand vacuum, and fire play we just skip. Candle of the correct low temp source we do use, but certainly without any flammables around (and that includes latex rubber clothing which is highly flammable.)
Learning to look haughty and weild a whip is pretty easy; learning to do a whole lot of scary things SAFELY is time consuming and reqwuires intelligence and discipline. Hope to restrain someone effectively without pinching nerves or cutting off blood supply to limbs for example. Do it wrong and permanent nerve damage can result. How about subs with diabetes, or epilepsy, or high blood pressure, or other medical conditions that must be taken into account?
