After years of research my thesis on this subject was published* last year! My sample size was about 6 girls in a beer bar nr Soi2 in Pattaya.
My conclusions were:
British - nice men, good to party, too pissed to shag!
Australians - ditto British but cheaper with the $
Americans - a) some nice men - the road to the Golden Buddha (based on what the TG's have seen on the movie screen)
b) some blah,blah..in the US, blah blah, US, etc. ad infinitum
Europeans - nice men, sex too much!
Arabs - no nice man
Japanese - pay big money, quick sex
Other Asians - pay big money, sex longer!
None of the above are generalisations..all proven facts..allegedly!
* on the back of a fag packet.

JHJ pulled his post before I replied - didn't notice until I posted myself. Since he'd voluntarily withdrawn, there didn't seem much point in punching the air. At any event, I doubt if JHJ had a chance to see my reply so this can't have had any bearing on his decision.

Know this Indian chap who does business in LOS (he is from Calcutta.) Typical darkish brown, short, not really handsome. But he is such a nice guy, very funny and smart. When he goes to MParlours, the girls swarm around him. I asked him his secret. His answer: "money! It makes the world go round."
While everyone is prejudiced due to past experiences, given enough stimuli (aka money), they will consider you to be different from the pack. The girls say he is like a nice Thai man. I guess that is bulsh_tting him, but he does have a very "Mai Pen Rai" attitude.
Moral of the story: Money money money money...

couldn't agree more...i was in BK last November and a bit too generous with buying lady drinks at this bar....basically buying a couple of for mamasman and for a few of the girls...the second night...i was just passing by the place and she ran outside and grabbed my arm pulling me in...and brought me a few women, including this 19 year hottie who had just started working there (a newbie)...a true stunner...needlessot say I bought a few more drinks for all the ladies...  ...I am a New Yorker of middle eastern decent...

Hi brothers, this is an interesting discussion. I would like to share some information that I have from one of my thai friends. She told me that some thai people believe that colour of the skin represents the social status of the people. She gave the example:
People who work in offices (good job, better money) do not get too much in touch with the sun and have therefore fair skin. People on the rice fields or people working all day on constructions have darker skins and worse jobs (earn less). I find it funny that in e.g. in europe people admire dark skin on holiday and consider it as luxury while in thailand it seems to be visa versa.
However, I want to get my skin burned in thailand as much as possible. I look pale like a zombie... and I am longing for my holidays in april.

It's hardly surprising that these girls form prejudices about people of different nationalities and skin colours so easily.
For starters, almost all of them have little or no education, and even if they do, it is of the village variety.
Only a miniscule percentage have actually travelled, and been exposed to diferent cultures, people, customs. They mainly interact with farang whoremongers like us.
They probably don't read a lot (besides their thai romance novels and gossip mags), so their view of the world is obviously shaped by the farangs they go with and what they hear from their 'sisters' in the trade.
They have huge problems that must be taken care of before trying to understand the world around them.
So it's only natural that they form stereotypes about people.
I too am guilty of it to from time to time; for instance thanks to Smegma I think all spanish are loudmouth c_nts who can't mind their own business.
Naturally, I cant plead to having an inferior education or not having travelled the world. I'm just a nasty boy.

This could be the basis for an interesting study. How could I influence someone into thinking one way about the people from a country where I am not from? One wonders what goes into the head of JHJ.
Maybe you cannot plead an inferior education or not having travelled. But you could certainly plead having been abused as a child. That would get you qualifications to make it to the top.
Anyway, stereotypes are right when it comes to stereotyping.
