Again,i have to tell u guys.Actually she is a former BG and not working in MP.She was a former BG at a bar in Patpong and shifted to another bar along Sukhumvit.Now she have left everything behind after 'Doing' this for 4years,she bored,shes sick,of the whole atmosphere and work as a freelancer.But,sometimes when she's on 'contractual duty'..she will call me and inform me earlier.
Ý ÝShe wants me to understand her.....this is what she told me recently:
TGF:hey T****,...i dont want Ýu to be angry at me,..tomorrow i'm going out with my customer for 2weeks.So,probably if i dont reply ur sms or call Ýplease try to understand my situation.I call u when everything ok.
ME:hmmmm....yeah..i'm fine.Go on,i'm not gonna stop u.
TGF: u have already know that the only income i get is through going out with customer and money which is sent to me by farang.
Though,..she is honest to me sometimes i'm jealous of this whole issue.As i'm not Ýfinancially stable , i cannot buy her out of this game.All i can do is support her mentally.

BTW,she do demand her customer to use condom after the last incident.

Better to assume every freelancer you meet could
be HIV positive and make sure you use a condom,
fact is this girl is probabilby not in as small a minority
of freelancers who used to work in Bars or MP's

Thinking that there is safety in knowing this ONE freelancer, and trying to avoid her area, etc., is false security and denial, at best.
She is one of MANY, and you should keep this in mind, even though it is unpleasant.
Figure 50% who are HIV + don't know, 40% know, but continue to work, albeit insisting on condoms, and 10% don't care...
Self-preservation is the ONLY reliable strategy.

btw,my TGF normally roams around sukhumvit,around soi5.She rarely goes to Silom coz her apartment is at sukhumvit.She dont have much friends as most of them have married to farang and she works alone.
Ý Probably 2-3 times a week.Anyway its impractical for u cmore to say that.Maybe u might bump into her as the world is so wide........u will never know?...

Can you tell me whether your GF informs her clients of her status?
I do not profess to have any idear what the support for sufferers is like with regards to emotional, medical, counseling ,medications etc in Thailand. I do however think she has a duty not to perform this type of employment , potentially exposing others to this disease, albeit not intentionally.
Ý The fact remains she is aware of her status and and should seek whatever help , if any, is available through other Ýavenues.
Ý If there is no assistance for sufferers , I can empathise with her for just trying to sustain her self, but does she have to seek this employment for monetry reasons, (eg: expensive treatments, medications etc) ?
Ý This may sound heartless but, could she survive on say a factory workers or cleaners wage and still maintain some form of whatever quality of life is available to her ?
Ý I do not mean to judge her, but knowingly working in this industry with such a disease is extremely dangerous.

Not at all impractical for me to say that brother COLD because now I know that if I want to go with a freelancer it would be slightly more worth it to me to look for one as far away from Soi 5 as possible. However if I were to pick 50 freelancers in the Soi 5 area chances are that one of them is the one who is proven to be HIV+. If I were to pick 50 freelancers in the Siam Square area then yes there is always the possibility that one of them could be HIV+. I'll take POSSIBLY over DEFINITELY any day of the week. I'm falling apart,i dont know what to say,...
Ý About the question u ask Tropical,..my TGF never tell any of her customer about her status.Only me and her housemate knows about this.She never tell to anyone as she afraid that people might shy away from her.Beside,there have been romours about her and it really affected her life.
Ý ÝI understand u Tropical...... but she's living her life to the fullest.Maybe ,this is the only job which is lucrative to her.Before when she was 18(the first time she set foot in BKK) she worked at a departmental store for 2years drawing merely 4000bt a month.When i ask her,..she frustratingly answered,.. for 2 f_cking years i stayed in hell,sometimes no money to eat,have to shift apartment everytime,BF always ask money,pocket is always empty,i was totally unfasionable(terrible!!!..i saw some of her pics),always borrow money from friends,never gave money to mom and i have to lie to her everytime she asked money.

Ý ÝShe didnt seek any help,couselling,medication/treatment or whatsoever since she knew about this(several yrs ago).Its hurtfull sometimes to see her not getting any medication.I have advised to her before,but i need to stressed the need to get treatment.Shes very afraid,..scared that things might get worse if she go to doctor.She is even afraid going to hospital alone because,..she told me that doctors might treat her differently,..like a castaway,sick people,put in seperated place,quarantine..etc.
...hmmm...there is still much to be done
