Spartan, Sorry to say but talking to lots of regular girls in bkk and some of the BG, they are not very happy about african american guys. According to them they are loud, rude and always try to take advantage of them  so my word of advise is be nice and friendly and they will not have any problem talking to you.

i'm having some black american friends that used to visit LOS every 6 months or so and patronized almost every bars (nana, patpong, cowboy), soi 33, ratchadapisek massage parlors, thaniya, etc. and they are mostly welcomed in these places. getting girls for the night is also not a major problem. of course, there are some girls who do not want to go out with them not because of their color but mostly because the girls think that they are having big dicks that might cause them pain. yeah, there are girls who like black men and these can be seen by their favorable reception and good time afforded to my friends. i also make it clear to the girls that they hailed from the US as this is the first question often asked when we enter an establishment. anyway, a neat appearance, good manners are also plus points

If anybody has any contacts with any resident blacks, please lemme know..
Im black and native/indian (both negatives) headed to thaland in Jan., Id hate to be dissapoint if there were overwhelmingly signs of blatant racism toward blacks.
Especially outsided the bargirls scene.
Ive been exposed to large amounts to rasicm here in U.S. and to go half way around the world and be shunned because im darker. Is like going back in time..

It's not as bad as all that. Just be polite, smile, and the ladies will come, especially when they find out where you are from. For those that don't, their loss. Enjoy your visit. Several of the bro's on this board are African Americans and they have had some great times, plus the usual heartbreak (see brother cmore's plaintive woes of late). My current TGF is a "retired" Soi Cowboy go-go dancer and she told me she never had a problem going with African Americans. As a rule she found them polite and kind hearted.

Hey brother Don, brother Balls is right. I'm black and have been to LOS twice now and never had any problems there. I even went bowling at the Grace hotel and that's where most of the Arabs stay when they're in town. They may look at you a little funny sometimes but no one will bother you or avoid you because you're black, unless you're being rude or treating people unkindly. Just treat the ladies with a little respect and be fair with them and you should be okay. Peace ( hey brother Balls  )

I've been (basicly) round this globe twice in my 37 years. I've been living out of the states since I was 16 years of age. My folks were the kind that taught me to treat all people equal. There folks were basicly biggots and or racist. So I got it from both angles. I will assure you that I am not racist as i've had the opertunity to learn culture in various parts of the world. Howerver everywhere i,ve been i've seen racisim. Directed to myself and others. I see it within countries ie; province to province. For any color of skin member on this forum and whoever you talk to other than that, Please dont walk around with a chip on your shoulder. Be as cool as you can be no matter what, no matter where you are. If it comes your way do like ABC has done, by at least giving the people a chance to chill. If that does'nt happen then knock their f_cking teeth out.
By and all it's like whats been said, here all ready, some girls do like some dont. Dont take offence if they dont like just move on as there are so many that do like. I've made one R/T, and tomorrow if my plane dont crash, i'll make another. It was just like what makes our country up at the R/T. It's a "melting pot" of race, nationality, and creed. We are all members after the same thing, "the persuit of happiness" and what ever that intails. Bros. & sisters, hope my point is well taken and well understood... I'm white, i'm from Louisiana SE part, & where you are from, and what color your skin is does'nt matter to me, so lets party!!!
