What does it mean if a Thai girl sais you are a "baby"? Does it mean an insult like in the west (Im 18) or does it just mean young?

As I know,
Thai male when they said someone baby, it means you are acting like a baby (teenage / childish behavior). So it is the same meaning when Thai female said that. It is not like pure childish behavior, but more look to your responsibilities of work or your action.

DewAsmara...maybe, but a TG will also use the baby expression fondly, relative to her use of English. The kid is only 18 so I would think it was affectionate rather than negative. The circumstance that it was used in, could better reflect it's meaning.
