IMO, there is no relationship to some guys paying higher fares for P4P and the potential raising of all fares with these payments.
The Thai economy is doing well and those girls who want non P4P jobs have a good chance to get them. Those who continue to choose the P4P route are also testing the marketing of a rising economy. Anyone notice that it is now Bt 600 barfine in go go's? It's not because someone told the mamsan "I don't want to pay 500 anymore, let me pay 600 for a better looking girl".
Let the economy dip again and I think you will see a reverse in prices all over again. You will see an influx of female participants and prices will come down.
What would be very interesting though would be if the the baht/dollar or euro exchange rate rolled back to pre- '97. That would make a Bt 1000 l/t rate = US$ 40 instead of $25. If the Thai economy remained strong, Yanks would see quite a bit of inflation!
