My Thai actor buddy, Pat Patson, is doing a concert next month in Thai Town...its at Thai Plaza. I think he said its friday october 6th.

yo guys,
A quick FR from LA...you guys living over in LOS you will know how good you got it after this...
I closed like $25,000 this week and took today off and went on craigslist for a massage with happy ending..

i just got back from l.a myself, I was staying in hollywood, hooked up with some koreans I met in bars etc then laughed as they had never been to korea or spoke korean, in fact one was jewish was adopted at 2mths old. every asian I met I asked where u from and they all say ohio or baltimore etc, never actually asia :c
anyway local l.a papers good for massage places, and c.l is ok too
but all in all pretty poor really, but some very beautiful girls around, even filipino, but civilians not pro's

You must have been hanging around with the wrong crowd. Trust me, there is no shortage of Koreans in K-town (near Hollyweird) that are Korean born.
The huge influx of Korean people into the US didn't really happen 'til the early eighties, so maybe you only know young girls - good for you.
I'd rather drink with a westernised Korean anytime, female or male, but they are the minority.
The thing that frustrates me about the rest is their difficulty or unwillingness to assimilate with our society.
Without going on about how they operate within their own community almost exclusively, let me share a paranoic experience I had today.
We're playing golf at a public course, very slowly because we have an open hole ahead of us (not my fault, of course - it's not like I hit the ball too many times.
The Asian group behind us, including a very talented young girl, was waiting on our group all day. But they never hit into us.
Picture this, golfers. You're off the green and walking to your bag or cart and you're 40 yards closer to the group that's been waiting to hit their approach shots and then they go ahead and hit as soon as you leave the green? And they're not even any good? It's dangerous, and Koreans have a habit of doing it and it pisses me off!
So today, I was really impressed that the Koreans behind us never hit into our group. They were waiting on us on almost every hole. So I thanked one of the fellows as we left the 18th tee, while he approached the 17th green.
So I thanked one of them for their patience as we passed, and he was very gracious in his reply.
When my buddy asked what we talked about, I told him that he dude was Japanese, not Korean.
That's why the group was so polite!
End rant.
PS. One of those f***ers landed an aproach shot about a foot short of the 18th green as we were putting.

back in the day, I dated, and am still very good friends with, a frekin hottie from Venezuala (sp?) 5 foot 3, 100 pounds with a nice fake rack that went to Auburn Uni on a full ride for golf.......she is scratch on a good day maybe 4 or 5 over on a bad day...

back on topic....Korea town is extremly tight knit...in my business, banks are our main clients and the only environmental company all the banks in Koreatown (and there are many) will use is owned by a korean guy...
I got 1 job from a Korean bank and it was because the borrower insisted on using me......they actually tried to say they would not do the loan unless he used the korean company....he knew that they wanted to give him the $$ and he said "look, (my name here) does all my environmental work if you want to make this happen then you will get a report from his company."
needless to say on a 11 million dollar loan they caved in...and we did a bang up job and got it in 2 days before deadline and I actually hand delivered it with bagels for the loan department...they have never used us again...they stick together...
you guys that have never been to LA (aint missing much lol!) but Korea town is about 6 times bigger than Thai town...
