Never been burnt by a TG, although left one in a fair amount of debt once. About 12000b phone bill.
I eventually sent her the money, and a little bit more to try an ease my own guilt.

Peterpan, I got myself an email as well asking for money as she was robbed by another BG 'friend' of a friend!
She claims to have lost 40k+nokia8310+some clothes all lifted from her room....
Supposedly she was meant to buy 'something' for her family in isaan tomorrow, but that has been set on hold?
Anyways all's good now as her collegue has come back from samui with her swiss boy, so finances are back ok even she missed out on the sheba dance contest 10k handout (Orn Suzie Wong finally claimed 1st price)...

yeah, the "PIANO'S [ a grand ] are what counts, mind you, in a country with little in the way of Pensions, child allowance, age benefits etc - and where the average Thai guy can jump on his motorbike and ride off into the sunset when his 17 yr old TG becomes pregnant - you can't blame them for trying - what is sad is when they do get lucky, and find a decent Guy/opportunity, most fail to take advantage of it -
