The one thing I am not sure I am getting,... if you are not with her, how do you get to know the details of her exchanges by email? I do not expect her to be telling you? Or do you still monitor her account from afar?
On the poor bastard, there is plenty of stupidity going around. You find it everywhere. God is very generous when distributing stupidity, but much more selective when allocating "good and working" brain cells. The good flip side for this guy is that hopefully he will probably be burned only once, and the $5k are then part of the cost for his life education.
