Yes, so simple. Most of the problems come from latching onto a girl who goes with men for her livelihood and then insisting on her exclusive attention.
Women are often accused of treating men like raw material - something they can change and mould into shape after it's been nailed down. Many do try to do this, of course - then get angry when they fail, or (sometimes) disappointed in the result if they succeed.
It's not the cleverest example to follow.
That girl you like - or have fallen in love with - happens to be a prostitute. You knew that all along (certainly wouldn't have met her otherwise) and it didn't stop you. So - unless you're hell bent on marrying her and making her the mother of your children - just accept it. All you have to do is get a grip on your ego and come to terms with reality.

Some time ago I was sitting at an outside bar on Soi 4 Suk with my wife and she was chatting with a women, her BF started talking to me.
We were all getting along well but he said that he had to leave to catch a flight home and he felt it was great that his GF was actually taking him to the airport, we said goodbye and they climb into her new Tiger pick-up (I thought someone's doing well), and thought no more of it.
Sometime later the pick-up returns, parks up and low and behold the women sits down and starts talking to my wife as if she'd been gone five minutes, a guy then sits next to me and introduces himself as the women's boyfriend, he'd just arrived and thought it was great that his GF had come to airport to pick him up.
I was tickled pink and although I had a straight face I nearly p*ssed myself laughing.
Later I spoke to my wife about the evening's events and she informed me that the women had at least four guys on the go and banked around 170,000 Baht a month, hence the new pick-up, the sister at university and ma, pa, and the buffalo were happy as can be because the eldest daughter had a well paying job in Bangkok.
Is there a moral to the tale, yeah of course there is "All you have to do is get a grip on your ego and come to terms with reality". And some reality it was.
Even now when I think of it, it brings a smile to my face to think of how many situations exist like this. TIT

Jeez - for that kind of money in BKK, I wouldn't mind having 4 BFs on the go myself (provided they didn't hit town TOO often).
OK, these guys think they've bought the lease, but in fact they've only bought a timeshare. If only they'd learned to appreciate timeshare, they'd have saved themselves pots of money - and, in the long run, probably spared themselves a lot of unnecessary anxiety.
I actually prefer a girl to be independent rather than kept as some kind of pet. Here she is, making the best of what she has, successfully running her own business and managing her life - makes it easier to take her seriously, somehow. It's really just a matter of losing inherited and rather silly hang-ups about the P word.

Each guy had a reasonably well paying job by all accounts and continues to contribute on a regular basis, the women in question is a better than average looker with a pleasant demeanour, my wife often see's her and it seems they are friend's.
Once I had written the mini FR I asked my wife how the women was, is she still around.
'Oh she's fine came the reply...'
But she's a little bored waiting for the next guy in the four or more stud stable to come to Bangkok and she drinks a lot but rarely goes out alone anymore.
Whatever that means.
I guess reality is a two way street but hopefully she'll find what she's looking for just like her timeshare devotee's.
Then my wife slapped around the head and I was given a red card and a stern warning from the referee to take that 'dreamy' smile of my face and put my tongue back in my mouth.

Actually a theft from Dickens: "In an increasingly utilitarian age, fairy tales should be respected." A plea for the poetic in the age of the machine and the legal contract. You can still enjoy real-life fairy tales easily enough in LOS.
Yeah, they should be respected, enjoyed, indulged in, even learned from - but NOT taken literally. The girls make it very easy for you to deceive yourself, and just going with the flow and letting this happen can be very pleasurable indeed. But it's not a good idea to deceive yourself beyond a certain point. Deep down, you should still be aware it's a fairy tale. So long as you DO know that, you can more-or-less forget about it.
