The truth comes out, or lack of!
So she emails me that she does need money for a new passport because "Lady press ATM with my card and take all my money", "55,000 Baht".
Well this rings false for two reasons:
1. How the hell would the thief know her ATM code.
2. It would take a few days to remove that much anyway with daily limits.
So I know where I stand now, damn she had me going!

If you have reacted to solve her previous problems by giving her money, then she knows you are a supplier. If you stop giving her money, then she may stop expecting it.
Don't hate her, she is trying to do what she can to maximize her income, like every good businessperson should.

Way too transparent, she isnt in any major league, (some are very clever) as for all the reasons you stated, your qusetion is answered.......Now were she after say 3000 for passport, and a couple more in goodwill, and her story more plausable sure. Some do leave pin numbers in their atm cards purse. But 55,000 ? NO a thai girl if knowingly lost her atm would immediately cancel, and atm limits are at about $800 Aud or $550 US dollars. 24 hours. Thats about 25,000 baht, but I dont know mighta changed. The whole story is pretty defect, and the professionals in the major league ""never hit on you for money til your theres 100% "" and then the stories are backed with proof, and builds trust before a big sting usually much later.....this girl is for suckers, glad you saw that.

Seems her instruction is going along fine, 30% of 55k is......
By the way, all banks are differant, differant limits etc, some have up to 100k limit per day, but you have to withdraw it in 20k lots, so 5 withdrawals, she could very possibly take out the 55k in a single day depending on the banks policy.
