As to whether this Swiss guy Thierry is really a platinum sucker rather depends on the true ownership of the 18 million Bt. property. If it is fixed somehow that effectively it is his to buy and sell and that he could eject her from it if required, then what's the problem? He has it as a convenient little nest for his G/f and sometimes himself and it has investment value too.
If on the other hand he has been stupid enough to allow her to have any control of those same elements, then he is well and truly f***ed and it serves him right. Either he can well afford to take that loss, or he will have put in place some safeguards to protect his assets. As Abrak infers, it appears that if he works frequently in the Far East, he is unlikely to be that naive.
Even if he doesn't read this Forum, he will have done some internet research on some other site. I bet that we all browsed other sites too before we came to LOS, to see how the land lay, or better still, how to lay the girls.
