Why go thai???
Well first you could say I have an asian fetish, so that is my main reason. Other reasons are :
a) Getting to BKK is easy, half the surrounding countries can only be reached from BKK for me.
b) Touching thai soil is like coming home for me. Which is strange as I can hardly speak 3 words thai. As a dutchman I have far more links to indonesia, but thailand makes me feel realy at ease.
c) Thailand is one of the most western countries in the region, with some realy good healthcare. I have not needed that, but it makes you feel safe. I hope if anything would happen to me, it would be in LOS, not in cambodia or so.
d) The food is good and plenty and never made me sick as it did in other countries. And I have been at risk a lot of times.
e) I'm not rich, so being a cheap country is important to me. I can have a fair degree of luxury at minimal risk for a good price.
f) People are very friendly, even hookers are genuinly more friendly then many other people all over the world. They are very open. Making eye contact means not sleeping alone that night in a high percentage.
g) They are one of the cleanest people I know. Nothing happens without a shower. I'm not a cleanfreak, but it gives me a bit safer feeling.
h) Thai girls combine the more curvy black genes with the tiny asian genes. I also don't mind a bit of color, so thai girls seem to pick the best of many races. (My best ofcourse, as it is my taste.) Chinese girls are often pale and square compaired to thai girls.
i) Thailand is an interesting country even without its population, so as a tourist it has many things that I like.
Do I think that thai girls are the best in bed??? No, I think others will score higher on this one.
But as has been said before, it is the whole package that makes this deal. So I will not say I will never try other regions of the world, but I will say that there are still a few thai visa's in my future.

Every time I arrived in BKK, I do not feel like I am arriving in a foreign country, I feel like I have just come home! How strange other people have the exact same feeling.
