i have a 'non success' story
girl was a friend and we kept in touch after i returned home.
mailed me with requests for money,had a problem and needed an operation.
had heard most of the stories and requests for money and i refused.
upshot?,on my next visit i found out she had died.
story was genuine and i ignored her.

Wow Nokna, You must have felt like shit man!!!
It is difficult beacuse of all the negative stories you expect to get the sick buffaloe letter and when it comes you just dismiss this.
I tell the girls that I can not send them money because I am seperated from my wife and I have to give all my money to my four babies. Still doesnt stop a letter coming though.
Perhaps we should do this on a credit basis eg you send money but you take it back in kind when you get to LOS..

Here's another UNBELEIVEABLE story .
I have just recently returned from a visit with Song in the North of Thailand and I am extremely proud of what she has made of herself .
Of course , I have mentioned a few of her achievements in other Threads - but after this visit I thought that I should pull it all together in this Thread .
For those who do not know about Song ( please see under "Bar Girl Stories " in the Topic "Misc.-Girls" ) here is a brief :-
- She comes from an extremely poor family that lived in a small hut on a hillside near Nan in the North of Thailand .
- The family had little or no food & Song wore the same dress to go to school and to sleep in . On nights when she wet her bed she had to go to school in that wet dress .
- Out of utter shame she dropped out of school at 10 years of age and helped her father carry fire-wood from the forest .
- At 16 she had her first sexual experience & at 18 she caused a scandal by having sex with a senior police officer whose wife found out . Song was sent to work as a servant in Bangkok where she was paid a pittance and had to yield to the sexual demands of the man of the house .
- She then progressed through various menial jobs , waitressing jobs ,& cashier jobs at snooker parlours . At all these places she indulged in sex with various men either out of need for money or because she was compelled to .
- Along the way she taught herself some English & finally got a job as a SalesLady .
- Two of her liaisons produced children ( sons ) and since the husbands abandoned her she gave one son into the care of her sister and the other into the care of her "mother-in-law" .
-Since she had to now send considerable money to her sister and MIL she started work in the Traditional Thai Massage Parlours as she was not qualified to get any other job that would give her the money she required .
- She could not work in the MPs because of her stocky build .
- When I met her 7 years ago at a TTM she had been working there for about 3 years and by her own account had had sex with about 200 different men . She had also indulged in every possible sex act including anal , orgies , lesbian ,etc.
- At that time she was earning about B40,000 a month on the average & nearly B90,000 in some months .
-When I gave her the opportunity to start a new life with her sons she jumped at it even though I offered to give her only B25,000 per month and insisted that she had to move to her home town .
-She moved there about 6 years ago , built & fully furnished a very nice home with money I loaned her and which I deducted at B15,000 per month .
-For the past 6 years or so she has stayed in this small town taking care of her house , her mother and her 2 sons .
- She has never even looked at another man .
- With my assistance she had started breeding fish through which she earns about B50,000 every 6 months or so . She has also planted 30 coconut trees which should be yielding next year & 150 teak trees which will yield income in another 12 or 15 years .
And now for the UNBELIEVABLE part .
- Since she has now re-paid me in full for the house/furniture loan I told her that I would now increase her monthly amount to B25,000 as agreed . But she flatly refused and said that I should not make any increase and in fact after watching her fish business for 6 months more she wants me to reduce the monthly amount from B10,000 to B5,000 and finally ti NIL !!!!!
- Apart from this she is on the School Committee , the District Committee & the President of the local Aerobics Club .
-At a Government sponsored program she was voted "Model Mother" for the past 2 years running .
-Her 2 sons who were absolute urchins / louts 6 years ago would now be any mother's pride . They consistently rank in the top 10 of their classes , they are in the school football teams , they are the best swimmers in their town & they are extremely well behaved and polite .
-Song attends adult literacy classes run by the Government - not to get a job but just to enrich herself . Incidentally she is the only person in her whole town who visits a library ( she goes there by bus once a week - at the nearest major town which is 75 Kms. away ) .
And thats what I call absolutely UNBELIEVABLE .

This is really unbelievable. And you deserve all our whole hearted respect & regards for the good job you have done.

...all of us that take a walk in the P***y jungle of BKK like to play games and we do now that the girls will try their tricks on us (trying their best to survive the jungle) and we try to be just one step ahead... that is part of the game and the fun...so we should blame no TG for playing the rules of the game...

The details of Song's life are really compelling. And the burgeoning success story equally stunning. As you've found and stated so eloquently here, it's not about giving away money, that's just a facilitator. It's about a steady hand on the tiller that gives them a chance for some self esteem and a sense that they can succeed, provide for their family, and be integrated in Thai society in a way that is not shameful for them. You are letting a flower unfold.
Nokna, I just went kinda blank when I read your comment about your lady friend who died. No words for that ...

i never went with her,but she just became a really close friend.
i have happy memories of her and her death was quite a shock.
