Perhaps it is just the spirit of the season that is taking over,but quite frankly it is refreshing to read about people who are genuinely interested in helping and doing good. Granted,there has to be a modicum of skepticism when trying to decide the sincerity of the situation. Nevertheless, I do harbor a bit of admiration for those who want to help with no strings attached. Thanks for the ray of light!

just to add my story...
when I was in LOS (Koh Samui), I tool a B\G back to my room and the normal things went on liked we talked, showered, in bed together just kissing and cuddling for a while, then just kinda got into a deep conversation about her background, Thailand, the bar scene etc. and how she was really missing her family, and even started to cry a little when she mentioned how much she missed her younger sister. Well, I think perhaps instead of eating into their earnings, let's work it out this way, a portion of the profits will go into a long term savings plan. We just have to work out a way, where they are not cheated out of it. This way, they will be incentivized to work more for the bar, after all whatever the bar makes, is partly theirs.

OK, I have a semi "feel-good" story of my own, although it does have some dirty undertones (unlike TT's squeaky clean story), and since the girls will never tell this story, here it is...
On my most recent trip to BKK, I only had 5 days and I had planned on spending most of my time with Angel, so I decided to get in as much as I could the 1st night I arrived and then meet her in the morning. Well the 1st night was the Kings BDay, so everything was basically closed, I called Rami and he hooked me up with a delicious girl he knew and she came over and met me. I had really wanted some lesbian action too, so after she left I called an agency to send over 2 girls (4000bht for both). Well, these girls arrived a little later and they were absolutely adorable (23 and 18) , cute as buttons!!! So we got to talking and I asked how much they got for their services and they told me they received 1000bht each. I believed them and thought what a shame it was that they were doing all the work for 50% of the money. Since I like to try to help out the girls, I told them that I could call the company, say I wasnt interested and that I was sending them away and then they could stay and I would give them the entire 4000bht. They got pretty excited about this idea and agreed to do like this. So I called the company and the manager was pissed! Then he wanted to talk to the girls and told them he wanted to call them at their apt in 30 minutes to ensure they were home. The girls were getting a little antsy, so I gave them 1000bht upfront and told them to come back after going back home and talking to the mgr, and they would get the extra 1000bht (at this point I didnt even care if they came back, I was glad to just help them out).
So they leave, the mgr calls me back 5x and starts screaming at me (F*ck your mother, you suck goat d#ck!, etc), whatever...I would just hang up on him or leave the phone off the hook while he screamed obscenities.
The girls finally make their way back and the 23yr old wants to give me my money back because now the boss wants to see her in person (but the 18 yr old can stay). I tell her to keep the money and she says she can meet me anytime later. Since I will be meeting Angel in about 4 hrs I tell her I cant meet after 10AM (currently 5AM) and so she promises to come back ASAP. I told her it was OK but she was so genuine, sweet and insistent that I agreed and gave her the extra 1000bht not caring if she came back or not. So she leaves and I am alone with the 18 yr old who is also thankful of what I have done and proceeds to show me her appreciation very enthusiastically. Finally spent, we pass out for about 1 hr and then the 23yr old calls and says she is now stuck doing admin work because she knows computers (college student) and the mgr needs a spreadsheet or something. I have to get ready for Angel so I give the current girl the extra 1000 bht and tell her thanks. After that I met Angel and immediately had her in my bed (I remember thinking "this is the 3rd girl I have had in my bed within the last 8 hrs" ) and went on to spend 4 beautiful days with her, during which the 23 yr old must have called me at least 20 times telling me she could meet me now to bang me for free (to which I had to decline).
Somewhere in there I think I did the right thing although I felt almost guilty for all the indulging I was doing.

Somewhere in there I think I did the right thing although I felt almost guilty for all the indulging I was doing.
You did what often passes for the right thing in Thailand, but it is far from being the ethical or moral thing. You basically cheated the escort service out of their fee, and whether it is for your benefit or the girls is irrelevant. Even if you happen to know the managers are assholes and treat the girls poorly it still unethical.
