Come to think of it, I remember when I was 14 and had my first experience with my then gf. We swore to each other that we would be together for ever. Boy, did I cry like a baby for a month when she left for Orleans. I wanted to die. I came up with sooo many plans at how I was going to quit school, start a business, marry her and live happily ever after... hey come to think of it, I've seen many adults in LOS do that. Did I ever turn into a cold hearted bastard. I guess I am boring now and I try to think "logically" before making decisions. :- (
Still, I would pay anything to feel that much in love again. Unfortunately once your brain knows it is all chemicals that "you" are releasing, you can never be blinded by beautiful love. :- ( Sad really, I wish I never grew up.

Wow, @ 14 you were thinkin' about startin' your owne business. I was just doin' the "what would her name sound like with my last name" thing. And when it did not work out, ran home to mommy!! ha ha ha!!

If you are looking to avoid disease then I agree with the above.
If you are looking to build a relationship.
I don't think it is the number of cars that is the problem. It is the efficiency of the tunnels extract system to satisfactorily remove toxins left behind as a result of this traffic.
Some girls become immune to people's feelings and have little respect for their customer, most remain stable, human beings who are looking for the same things in life as most 'normal' people. Being played is a risk that we all have to acknowledge. There is nothing to be ashamed of if you get taken. It shows that you trusted her & that trust was misplaced..so what? You may have lost money and almost certainly you will have suffered some emotional pain..you have not lost your life! We all bounce back..some quicker than others. If we were better at dealing with rejection the world would be a happier place.

Though wouldn't you think the more traffic, the more pollution and then you would need a more efficient extraction system. Not to mention the wear and tear on the road.
Whereas, a tunnel that has had limited use, might mean less wear and tear, as well as less pollution!!
But, if either tunnel does not use any extraction system, then I would avoid that tunnel at all costs. Unless it was just built and I was the first car to use the tunnel!! ha ha ha!!
Being played is a risk that we all have to acknowledge. There is nothing to be ashamed of if you get taken.

And, yes, most of us have been there at one time or another.

Agree with the wear& tear comments.
The problem with gettin taken over and over is that to avoid this you invariably have to check the girl out. This removes the trust that is necessary to build relationships and you are forever thinking 'what if'. You then get into a habit of snooping, checking her phone, hiring PI's. Where does it all end?
The reverse of this is that you get out of a relationship too quickly when you think (but don't know) your TG is 'lying' to you or your gut feeling says something (may be minor) is not quite right. When it may only be a cultural misunderstanding. This further reinforces the TG view that falangs are not reliable etc,etc.
I can see that a lot of these relationships can turn into emotional rollercoasters!

You have to remember, @ 14 I felt I knew everything that one needed to know about the world. So the chain of thought went something like this... 1st start a business, hire some people, make tons of money and enjoy life with her. As I said, doesn't it sound too much like what some guys dream of after visitng Thailand? And, like you, I too ran home to mommy.  And yes, I used to say her first name aloud with my last name!

Fastmover, ah yes wouldn't that be heaven? BTW, I am in love now, but I know it won't last, she is a tad too crazy even by my standards. When I go to Bangkok, I fall in love atleast twice during each stay.

an ex-gf had the same last name as myself.
i thought it was cool, since if we got married she would not have to change her last name. I was 12 @ the time by the way.
unfortunately it was pointed out to me by my friends that, because we had the same last name, we could be related from some distant village from our ancestors. now, that's just something i'd care not to think about!! ha ha ha!!
