no no, I haven't bar fined Mr. Harold and I didn't invest into the 3 baht gold bracelet since it's probably in the range of 25.000 baht.
I ended up buying some saphire staff for a reasonable rate. Her english is indeed horrendous but on the other side she offers other superb talents and from time to time I have to honor... finally who cares about language, particular in LOS...

Back in the days when I was a rich tourist, I used to stay in 5-star hotels like the Shangri-La on the River. I'd actually book on Priceline ($55 + tax), then upgrade to a suite (what a deal, their standard rooms aren't all that great, IMHO).
