The market rates vary on the season, availability, demand, and quality just like with tomatoes.
Cuz you gave her 1500 last month does not mean she will not ask for 2K now. If you gave her 2k last month and the bars are empty then there is no reason not to offer 1500.
The important thing is to ensure that all parties to the contract understand and agree to the terms.
Now I know that some of you guys may object to discussing price because it ruins the 'ambinece'.... THESE ARE NOT YOUR GIRLFRIENDS  !
These ladies are entrepreneurs who though they give you the elusive GFE they are not doing it because they like you.... its their job.
So negotiate a price, enjoy the experience, and if the service is good hire her again.... just don't expect the price to remain the same unless you lock her into a long-term contract (such as sponsorship or marriage)  ...

For long I had not bothered to look up this thread because the title misled me into believing this had something to do with technical or cost issues in bank transfer systems, haha. And then when I saw it was persistently appearing in the Last 25 I took a dekko.
A few days back I began to post here then called it off. Now again. And mainly because recently I was busy blowing up a few precious thousands chasing that elusive dream in LOS. With the same set of results.
Bro Nic, I like to think that it is because we are educated that we believe our eyes are open, and that we are fully aware of our actions, intent and consequences, when we purchase or hire ladies. It is why we believe that we are controlling the situation, we are calling the shots, we are able to do what we like on our terms, look precisely for what we want, as in a superstore, and home in on our chosen target.
And then we decide on the purchase, believing that the fine print is set by us, and not, as is customary, by the seller.
I agree with Quim, that once we let the girl dictate the price trend (this is distinct from her privilege of setting her price at the outset, alongside our freedom to accept or negotiate, or reject) then we are letting ourselves in for victimisation. And the increasing likelihood of deterioration in the quality of her service. At the end of it all we end up wondering "how could an educated monger fall for a purchased lady."

... saitnyen... I did not mean to identify YOU as a victim... I intended to above as more of a generalization... (actually, I am thinking of a guy who is getting creamed by drink hounds in a Soi Cowboy bar, written about on another thread I cannot recall just now).
... you are right... 500 baht is not a lot of money, especially if there is a favorable return on that increment and the extra 500 is of YOUR choosing, not hers... as I wrote, I myself pay 2,000 to a very long term monster f*** with whom I've had a business relationship for years now.
... but... if it starts as a 1,500 fee, then ratchets up to 2,000, then gravitates to 2,500, fixing the floor at each step, and then somehow goes beyond, would put you at risk.
... we are really curious to see how this turns out for you, bud... you've lot's of opinions here on how to control it... hope something works for you.

hmm, looking back at the OP, I'm thinking that's the opposite of how I do it.
I had one non-P4P chick coming round.
Turns out most of them are P4P, as they will almost all expect some kind of monetary settlement, especially if they have sex with you.
She eventually asked me for money to help with her motorbike payment, so I gave her half of what she originally asked for.
The next time I gave her half of what I gave her the previous time.
Two weekends ago I gave her 500b, & over last weekend I gave her nothing.
She comes back to me on an SMS yesterday evening, standard to wait two days for her, & says I promised her the money for her motorbike payment so she could continue to come see me.
I never did such a thing, but now she claims (also in the SMS) that she's going to stop seeing me if she can't afford her motorbike payment.
I wasn't even around for several months, so I wonder how she made her motorbike payments then.
She was quite enthusiastic sexually Saturday night, & now I know why. She thought I was going to give her money, for some strange reason.
If I have to keep forking over money I'd rather just continue alone & be able to pick who I'm going to screw & when. It's kind of a pain with her hanging around on Sunday asking where we're going for the day when all I want to do is sit home & get my computer sorted out on the one day a week that I'm not working.
so, put simply if the ex-BG who is obviously still P4P wants more money of an already expensive 2k, I'd have told her to get f***ed !
There are plenty still left in BKK who would go with you all night for 2k & I'm not talking about munters or grannies.
Back in October I had one for 2k that wouldn't go home the next day, even after I paid her.

Recently a GiK of mine in Bangkok asked for 10,000 bT to help pay for the deposit/key-money/rent on a room as she was moving back to BKK from Rayong to seek work.
I agreed since I would be spending my upcoming 'Road Trip to LOS' with her and she pointed out correctly that the room had everything a hotel had (Gym, Pool, Aircon, Cable) but would be the cheaper option.
A few days later she SMSed me to let me know that she had changed her mind about returning to BKK and would go back to Udon Thani to stay with her Mum after our road trip.
What impressed me was that she also asked for instructions on how to return the 10,000 bT as she would not be renting the room. I told her the best thing to do would be to hold it until I arrived for our road trio and I would use it to cover some of our expenses.
That, my friends is an example of a real GIK.... if she keeps the money or uses it for something other than what it was meant for she is a P4P girl and not your girlfriend ...
