PENT CAFE is still rolling. The one at Le Meridien was closed long time ago. Several cute girls on it and more info on the thread posted by BK. This place is slightly cheaper than PIANO and EXOTICA. Girls are nice but IMHO better ones are available at ChateauBlanc and Piano.
As BK said. EXOTICA is in Soi Thonglo. If Thai is the language barrier I suggest to request for Khun JOY who can help you with the membership details and more info about the girls and drinks.

I used to go to the Pent Cafe in the Meridien from time to time. Never did get fully acquainted with the buy-a-drink-for-a-chick-but-she-still-wanders-around system used there.
Am eager to try Exotica. I asked my Thai friend ('N' from the Orbit story) about the place. He told me where it is and said that he hasn't been there yet. From what he heard, it's somewhat similar to Pegasus in it's system but the girls are better.
Might be a plan for this weekend. =)

yep exotica is comparable to pagasus with the better looking girls.
plus it is not that crowded as pegasus so you do usually get the better attention in exotica.
on the other hand i really hate the long way from low sukhumvit (where i am living) to mid sukhumvit especially when you are fully stucked in traffic!

Well EXOTICA will cost a bit more than other places. Seems to be that even after purchasing a bottle (4.4K) you have to pay the entrance fee (B/.500) the next time you visit them. We faced that policy with BK and Kris last time.
Girls are nice and the set up of the place is very nice. You can even request the "mamasan" to go upstairs and choose the girl of your choice. Drinks are B/.300 I reckon....45 minutes and lots of fun. The Band has a Philippino singer who is a f_cking gay. Hilarious considering the amount of nice chicks at this place. Have fun. Ah! if you have problems with the language you can request the assistance of Khun JOEY, this mamasan is very helpful.

There is one big difference between Pegasus and Exotica. In Pegasus, everyone knows that you can take the girls out for a ST or LT, but not in Exotica. The (Exotica) mamasan will tell you right from the start, that the girls are only there for the company, that's all. Any ST/LT arrangements are to be made privately between you and the girls, if she wants to.
Pinga, I think the mamasan's name is Jo (or pronounced "Joe") not Joy as you have written. I have her name written in Thai on the back of the recently expired bottle card.

well,
you will be able to take the exotica girls. it is just a question of how much you pay. but compared to pegasus there is not a set menu or price so this is all negotiation.
also the price of a bottle gets a lot cheaper when you buy a membership there. this way you also avoid the entrance fee. buying a membeship there should put you on the same level as in pegasus for company and booze! if you want more than that you will have to negotiate!
