So that would make your mother 46 years old.

Does that mean she was 16 when she gave birth to you?
Just trying to understand where you're coming from a little better.
I read somewher that kids born as early on as you were, are not quite as developed mentally and emotionally as, say, kids born to parents who are a little more mature.
What are your thoughts on this, if any?

My mother was 16 years old when I was born and my father was 15. I am now 31, so you do the math.
My take is that kids that are born to parents of such young age tend to be loners. My parents were too busy partying and having fun to provide the proper raising as most kids get with older parents.
Basically, I raised myself and taught myself to survive. I cooked for myself, did my own laundry, had a job when I was 13 shining rollerskates at the local rollerskating place because I didn't have enough money to hang out with my friends there.
I would say yes, that I am not developed emotionally as most. Almost all of my decisions are based on "me." But now my daughter is changing that. I have never loved anyone or anything until my daughter was born.
Mentally I would say that maybe I put more enfasis of "street smarts" than "book smarts." Although I have been playing engineer in the automotive industry since 19 years of age, I would still rather make the "quick money," and always fall for the "get rich" gimmicks. Such as what brought me to Thailand.
If you were trying to insult my intelligence, you can not succeed. I would rather people think I am stupid. That way they do not expect too much from me and I have that element of surprise.
How is intelligence really rated? With books or by survival skills?

The oldest I've been TOLD is 34 or 36 - dancer in SC gogo. Her age increased each time I asked her but stopped about 34-36 (I forget which).
I usually no longer ask a BG how old she is (even ones I spend a good amount of time with), because the answer will be what they think I want to hear and and I really could care less how old they are, to be honest. Only if I'm curious as to what they might tell me do I ask.
If they ask "how old CG?", my answer will usually be within 6 years of my real age, plus or minus, depending on my mood and what I think the BG wants to hear.
