I can't argue with you there, it's amazing how many will do that sort if thing. I have had many experiences like that. My experiences so far....
Had 0 luck with any private chats. Have initiated discussions with two very attractive ladies that completely disintegrated due to my crappy Thai skills. That is to be expected.
Certainly nobody has reached out to me. Maybe they can tell from my username alone how ugly I am (actually I'm not, but whatever). Or they can figure out I am in the US, therefore I'm not worth wasting time on.
I have noticed fair quantities of unmitigated carnality. I'll check my saved username list later and share, who I have identified to be frequent showers.
Some of the fun stuff I have seen:

Buyer beware - it therefore can become a colossal time sink.
