So I take it that the Q-Bar is the only bar where I can find a nice blend of TG's and Tourists?

'Nokna, aren't you doing a bit of "the pot calling the kettle black" here... when you criticise PartyBoy's wishes to meet up with non-Thai's (as well as Thai's) while in LOS? If I remember rightly you came here (Holland) and hooked up with a Thai girl? Shame on you! You're breaking your own rule, you should follow your own advice! when i first visited your fair country i knew of the 'reputation' of the area off of Dam Square.
but i did not realise the amount of different nationalities working there,i thought all the ladies would be Dutch.
i have spent time(20 minutes if i'm lucky) with girls from the Ukraine(Olga was stunning),Germany,France,but the MAJORITY were Dutch ladies.
when i first visited,going with a lady was not high on my agenda,i had never gone with a 'lady of the night' before and it took a lot of courage(for me) to finally try some of the services offered.
the Thai girl i met was different,
as i say this was the first time i had been anywhere which offered these services and i saw her one day and her smile enchanted me.
i had never really seen any Asian women before and i was curious and it was early(midday ish)
where i live it is predominately White,i had never had much contact with Asian or Coloured people.
she had such a different attitude to the British women i have ever been with(and i include marriage) and i was impressed by her.
it was because of her that when my Dad died and i needed a holiday,i decided on Thailand.
i had no idea of the scene and only went because i remembered her from 2 years earlier.
i thought if all Thai's were like her,then it must be a good place to visit.

when i say i pay 2000 everytime,i'm talking about WHEN i pay the Ladies.
my experiences of not paying is not great,but it happened on around 10 occasions.
the no money experience can be had.
i've turned up at a girls room(no BF),spent time with her and left(no payment),even though i offered.
another wanted to come with me for one last sex session and she told me no BF.
we done the business and i took her back to the bar and she would'nt accept money or a drink from me.
and another occasion i met one who became a regular,normally met her after everything had closed and we had a good time.
and again she refused payment in the morning.
'Secondly, I'm a bit dissappointed at Nokna's reaction to my post. Do you usually lose the plot so easily? I've read a lot of your posts and have found you to be interestingly informative and polite. So calm down!
Your reply was no way to treat a newbie. How do you know that I wont be posting here for years to come? I've been saving a lot of money for some time now so I can spend it on my 7 week holiday in your beautiful country(I assume you are from Thailand from your reaction).
Abusing future tourists is bad form mate. You say there is a lot of poverty in the area but still you are happy to give me the 2 fingers and tell me not to come at all! You're basically saying "We don't want your money"
Without tourism, Thailand would be a lot worse off than it is now.
What sort of image of Thai people are you trying to convey?
Anyway I hope I didn't insult anyone or twist anyones knickers too tightly as I would like to meet up with a few of you for a drink at some stage. Nokna - maybe you can drop in too?'

don't say i am informative or polite,you will certainly upset members who do not like me....
i lost the plot years ago,and no i am not from Thailand,many members will tell you that and enough info in my posts to tell you i am from the UK.
my point was that i would not travel 12 hours from my home to Asia and then look for Western Women.
i have no real problem with you looking for Western Women,but why?.
but i am having fun with a Filipino at the moment.
meeting up for a drink?,no chance i'm afraid.
i like to go alone and will only go on the prowl with Bandit and Sandigon.
my offspring need guidance.
and as cmore says,the GFE is there,i have been there and seen it,as have others.

if you really want to hook up with farang girls in thailand there are a lot of frustrated farang chicks (as nobody pays attention to them and therefore are not overhyped like in farang land) around in these popular tourist areas and other places:
lucifer disco / patpong
music cafe / patpong
o'reillys and shennigans / close to patpong
all of khoa sarn road esp. gullivers tavern and others
londoners pub / sukhumvit corner to soi 33
q-bar and bed / sukhumvit soi 11
MOS / sukhumvit soi 12
also for after hour drinking grace coffee shop still has its fair share of farang girls.
in tourist destinations like pukhet and samui it is certainly even more easy to spot farang girls.
while you are in samui stick to chaweng as this place is more touristy and usually the faminazis won't be heading as far as Lamai!

I wasn't looking for you to defend your choices of selecting a Thai women in Holland. I was being a tadd sarcastic at the irony of your comment. i.e. if you would go with a non-Dutch woman in Holland... then why can't PartyBoy do the same in LOS. Each to his or her own.
I can never work out why so many westerners go to LOS and eat burgers, fries and pizzas, but I'm not about to tell them stay the f_ck home if their not going to eat Thai food.

Seriously, I never knew what a "working girl" was till I saw some Hollywood movie. I assumed a working girl was just a girl that wasn't an unemployed girl. Do I find it an offensive term? Nope, not at all. Then again I don't find the word prostitute offensive (when used inoffensively that is).
I just didn't like to see a newbie get the 3rd degree because of a word.

my train of thought was why go to Asia and look for a Caucasion woman?,there are plenty around the world.
nothing personal against anyone,if my comments seemed to have this impression,then i apologise to everyone.
i certainly would not travel halfway around the world and then look for a 'white' woman.
there are plenty of Aussies and Brits in Patong,but while the Thai girls look at them and say 'soo-ay poo-ying',my reply is certainly in the opposite view.
but in the end,each to his own.
and i was'nt trying to defend my actions of going with a non Dutch girl.
all of the girls i saw and went with in A'dam(except one),i presumed were Dutch,was not until i started to chat to them did i realise they were not.
the Thai girl was obviously non European in her looks,but could easily have been Dutch.
she might have been born and bred in Holland for all i know.
i quickly realised that women from many countries travelled to A'dam to work,but most of the ladies in Thailand are from SEA.
if i really wanted a 'white' woman(and that was what Partyboy was asking about) the last place i would travel to is SEA.

this has been talked about before and i just prefer being on my own.
i have been out on the town with other people in the past but did'nt really enjoy it,just a preference of mine to go out alone.
while i am an admirer of BK for starting this Forum and i have made a few friends whilst posting here,if i was in town for a couple of days i would feel uncomfortable going with them for a night out.
meeting for a chat and a beer during the day would be fine,but i'm basically a loner and not comfortable in company.
finally 2 things.
while i and others are not keen on the use of the 'P' word,i think i understand the others who like to use it.
but remember,many of the girls themselves find it offensive when uttered.
but everyone has their opinion about the girls.
and another question about deleting posts.
i accidently entered the same post twice earlier.
someone said if a post was deleted,the person should have a number knocked off their overall number of posts,interesting point.
but i have posted the same post twice accidently and gained 2 'number of posts' to my name.
would i be in the wrong if i deleted one of the posts? just to sort things out and keep the Forum a little uncluttered.

don't think of me as anti-social or anything,far from the truth,just the way i am.
i like to do my socialising during the day.
on my last trip most afternoons were spent in Kangaroo Bar with 3 Swedes and a Brit.
just shooting the breeze andgetting drunk and of course chatting up the 3 girls who worked behind the bar.
but only one of the group was ever successful.
but at night,things are different.
when i have gone out with other people,i find we go to bars i do not like,i am limited to what i can do,i like to be in control of my destiny.
i'm a creature of habit(boring really) and visit the same bars and rarely venture anywhere else.
i have friends in the bars and like the ambience.
when i'm out for the night on my own i can do certain things.
decide where i want to go.
decide when i want to leave a bar
decide if i when i want to BF
decide where i want to go and eat.
many things that happen are my choice but i will always ask the girls where they want to eat and because of that,i have been to some fantastic restaurants off the beaten track and they have become favourites.
