There was fun to be had around Gatwick airport in the UK with the charter airline stewies. To keep costs down the airline would put 3/4 of them into a furnished house or flats, one just happened to be next door to me!!
These girls were also paid a lower salary than the flag carriers, so the smell of a roast dinner would get them drooling. They did have a good scam with the inflight wine though and have had many a dinner where we have drunk 20/30 bottles of wine!!! The inflight bottles.
I worked on an airport construction job right next to the air crews parking lot, so my days were never dull with all those mini skirted, long legged girls waiting for the crew bus right outside my office window.
Bring back the good old days of Laker if only for the bonking.
