As for the emails of Na and Da, I know of course that they are translated. I have stayed with them a long time and I was lucky that I speak some Thai.
But what do we do if we want to send a letter or an email in a language we are not so good at. We go to a translator ourselves, no...?

Here comes an example of what kind of translation services the TGs pay for, a very missleading translation from one of Na's last emails.
In one email, the missleading translation: I hope in one day I will change your a dutch wife and I will be instead your dutch wife.
As I am not dutch, I have questioned this, but not in an all too serious way...

The explanation in another email: I want to explain for about the word "dutch wife" it is the idiom it mean I want to be the pillow when you sleep do you understand me? I didn't mean I am wife of Dutch.
I replied that I understand now and if she wants to be my pillow I want to be her pillow, too.

Bandito, not teasing you (that time), just trying to point out that mistranslations can happen anywhere, in Thailand it's almost a given. ÝAnd 150 years or so later we've not corrected our mistranslation, in fact it's a tourist area now.

Ý Ý Ý Ý Ý I own an internet shop in LOS and offer translation services for Tgs ,there is no standard letter,most girls come in with a hand written letter in Thai and that is translated and sent via e mail to the Bf.I have seen more than one instanse where the same letter as been sent to up to as many as 5 farangs ,the usual stories about the buffalo being sick and so on can you send me money.I get to meet some these guys when they come to the shop and leave money to pay for the service upfront untill they return .I find it very hard not tell these guys they are being used.

@siriusman: steady on! that is what i also usually do when i come across girls who are bit to much on the pushy side when it comes to sending emails! keep on warning these guys as most of them aren't even aware how these girls play!
by the way i know a girl who has 7 different email adresses this way she can communicate with her sponsors worldwide and can even hand them the password as she does use another email for each sponsor! amazing how creative these girls can be!
