well guys I wasn't looking for a statistical analysis of the situation, I just wanted some personal opinions/feedback on the matter.
Really just something to help me normalize the situatino in my own head so I can enjoy myself more. Take the Cypro, and when the biological war starts Cypro will be useless for you and you will die!
As Cypro is the strongest antibiotic on the market and thus the last line of defense for some of the new bugs going around, you should never take it unless you are on death's bed.
May I suggest a strong dose of Amoxcillian instead...

I thought Vancomycin was the strongest? I also thought it was the bugs that build up resistance to antibiotics not you building up a resistance to an antibiotic?

Could be, back during the Anthrax scare of 2002 Cypro was the strongest.
As for medicine losing its effectiveness it works both ways, bugs do become resistant to an antibiotic but so does your immune system (except doctors call that tolerant)...
