Interesting post. Could you please give us an idea of how much you charge the TGs for this service?
The translation services offered by the internet shops are apparently a good business for some. Or should I call it a rip off with prices starting from at least Baht 200 to 300 depending on the length of the email...?
All bros who are having contact by email with TGs who are not fluent in English should bear this in mind!

Hi Bandit, i would estimate that would cost about 50-60 baht. The worst example i can give of the deciept i see is one girl............we will call her Nid for now.She is the Gf of a US Navy Guy,he sends 60,000 each month through Western Union,and she asks for more to cover what she calls 'problems'.Then 3 months ago she told him she wanted to build home for him and her,this guy took out a loan for 750,000 Baht and sent that to her,she comes into my shop 7 days a week somtimes twice a day.with her Thai boyfriend who is wearing all the gold the Farang as given to her.I am talking serious gold here 5 and 10 baht gold.She is pissed most days at 11 am when she comes in, she goes to Thai bars and picks up a young Thai guy and pays him for Sanook.This Sailor is now on one of the worlds biggest warships ready to go war with Iraq. I could fill this thread with e mails sent from my shop to farangs that open the eyes of even the most wise and hardened of the brothers.

Bandit i have allready done that..............!! I just hate the way she trats this guy,even the girls who work for me have said that they are upset with what she does.This guy loves her very dearly,he is prepaired to take care of her for a better life and she does this to him. I do at times lose all faith in Thai logic and honesty

Not strictly true Bandit i respect most customers but this one is the pits man.She is the only one i have ever upped the price for. I have told 2 others never to come to the shop again.One girl told the farrang she was pregnant and she slipped and lost the baby so she needed money for doctor.................she was never pregnant so i told her to Pai liew leiw.
