Well, as I have been called to serve, I will attempt to inject some class into a badly deteriorating thread:
First, even "Olliver Wendell Jones Jr." requires some privacy, as evidenced by his changing his name from the more famous (and historically correct) Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr.. ÝNothing like quoting someone, and getting their name wrong... Jeez!
OK, after firing an initial tongue-in-cheek round, with my Darwinian, Procrustean, caterwall against the existence of chumps, I offer the following:
First, as has been pointed out, we (well, YOU) come to Thailand, engage with bargirls and enter THEIR game. ÝTurning around and calling them bitches, because you didn't bother to find out the RULES of the game, i.e., how it is played, is very unsportsmanlike. ÝAnd you should NEVER assume that you KNOW the rules, because Rule #1 is that the BG can change the rules at any time!
This removes the (shaky) self-justification some of you have offered for a) erasing her email addresses (sorry ABC), or b) sending letters to her remunerative chumpie-boys, etc.
The fact that she left herself logged in (i.e. plays the game poorly), is no justification for your own misdeeds.
Now, the tricky part:
If your misdeed causes no harm to her, i.e., you only READ her email, perhaps for the voyeuristic pleasure it brings, you are STILL committing a misdeed. ÝSolution? ÝOwn it. ÝIf discovered, use this little known defense, passed down by Uncle Abraham Sup:
"So? Call me pischer!"
This says, "I did it, and I don't care. ÝCall me what you will. It ain't no big deal.", etc.
In fact, I always defend the girl in this old and careworn discussion. ÝAs has been pointed out by many, these guys are NOT in full appreciation of reality. ÝThey are in love with their own fantasy and illusion, and need only muster the desire for self-appraisal to get out of (financial and emotional) harm's way. ÝAs has been said, most of the time, even in the face of overwhelming evidence, they won't believe that little Noi is doing them wrong! ÝGood for Noi, she plays well.
Honorable mention to Naughtius Maximus for trying to play the game well: subverting the remittances to your OWN bank account: A stroke of Genius.
