No, as a cheap charlie I don't think that is even remotely likely.
Only one of those 3 was a real BG. And although she did not tell much that I could make sence of, you could understand there were a lot of bad times in her history. She was a vietnamese in Phnom Penh so I guess she did not have many good things happen to her in this business untill she met me.
The second was a real thai massage girl that had been only for 3 days in BKK. She was divorced. So I guess the divorce and the trek to BKK were connected. I was her first John and first farang. And I think she never knew that sex could be fun for the woman also. She fell in love with me, but was not blind with love. She knew that when my plane left, the deal was over. She never even bothered to stay in contact as she had no means to do so (PC or phone) and had no good english skills also. Every small detail about this girl was true and not a single one even sounded untrue. So if she was a faker, she could put Meril Streep to shame, but she was real, I know so.
The third girl did not even get money from me (there was also no sex and she defenitly was no BG) I just payed for some food and drinks. A good time was had by all. Nothing more nothing less.

When I say that you will leave BG's in emotional stress, this is IRONY intended to highlight the absurdity of your claims. As I have said, I understand your position, but you are expecting something that not within the scope of human behaviour.
The reason that I used the term sub-species is this:-
IF, as you claim BG’s were capable of forming transient but meaningful relationships with Farangs (or anybody else) they would have to be very different from the remainder of the human race. So different, that they could be considered to be a separate species. Anthropologists would be besides themselves at this certain discovery. ( Does the name Margaret Mead mean anything to you ?)
IF such a people were to exist, and their emotional investment were as Westerners would have it, then they would be expected to suffer significant emotional stress upon the departure of each of a very long string of lovers. This would make their lives very difficult, and I expect, rather unhappy. Night after night, week after week. Unusual behaviour, to say the least, especially as the BG could so easily avoid the it.
Yet witnesses say that BG’s cry at the airport gate. So how ?
I make the claim that they do not become attached, but their behavior is a socially acceptable form of interaction that Westerners misinterpret. This is not unusual. Many societies exhibit social mourning or laughter, that appears quite false to Western eyes and ears.
If you don’t agree, then would you please tell me what it can be about Thai women that explains this particular behaviour, yet allows them to remain emotionally balanced and intelligent members of the human race? What is it about that Western women, that they don’t do as Thai women ?
If you really believe that they DO become attached, and yet you deliberately pursue the emotional aspect for your own gratification, how can that be in accord with any of the definitions that you have proposed ? What evidence do you have that the reward of “respect” is adequate compensation ?
If you claim that it is all an illusion, or some other cop-out, how can you apply the concept of respect to it ? Or do you believe that the BG’s fall only for you ?
I reiterate. The sort of respect that you insist upon is not possible. A rationalization for something that you would do, even if it were otherwise.
It is not prostitution that I am talking about, (look at the word under my “handle”) but the bullshit that attempts to justify it in other terms.
I don’t see BG’s at all as money-grabbing, and neither do they. That last bit is important.
It isn’t just the “human nature” argument that works against you. Take some time to study the culture, and particularly the way that Thais view ‘face’, wealth, and self-worth, and not rely simply on your own inbuilt faculties, as they are leading you astray.
If you ask a local, you may not get the right answer, or the one you expect. Can you (would you) accurately explain all aspects of your culture’s behavior ? If the truth were always so readily accessible, nobody would ever make mistakes, would they ?

I am talking about perception, Social customs develop in a way that best serves the group that practices them. Mexicans are just like us. It is the customs and their outward display that differ. Westerners misinterpret what they see, and take the spirited hospitality to be more than it is.
Westerners don’t normally display such hospitality to others unless we “really” like them. (or we’re drunk), and when this hospitality is shown to us by foreigners, we incorrectly infer that the host “really” likes us. That’s the mistake.
Mexicans don’t take strangers as instant friends in any deep sense any more than Westerners do.
There was no deception in my behaviour towards those I met on my travels, because I knew it was hospitality, just as the Mexicans themselves knew it. When it was possible, I returned the favour.
I would like to comment on your other points, but most have been covered. It is enough to say that three Western prostitutes have told me that I have been their first. Have I been lucky, or did I look or act in a way that would lead them to think I would believe it ?
No harm done.
As for the crying at the airport, and the capacity to determine the “genuine”, that is probably covered in my reply to HJ.

Questions :
1.When you go into a used car lot and the salesman comes over with a big smile on his face, you think he really really loves you for all your unknown qualities, or it's because he needs to ?
2. When you see a begger on the street who says to you " god bless you", you think he is a really religious person or he just needs something ?
3. I write a few paragraphs and it seems that I get the equivalent of War and Peace back for my pains. The trouble is, that once I'd waded through this diatribe, it became clear that the whole thing was totally a waste of time, as once again, RO confuses the two meanings of the word respect.
I have nearly always used it in the sense of good manners. From his ramblings, he obviously thinks that I meant the other meaning of the word.
Whilst I have his undivided attention and he seems prepared to give these detailed and insightful answers, I wonder if he might be prepared to explain the meaning of life. I have been pondering it recently.
On second thoughts, I won't be here by the time he gets around to it, as I'll be leaving Blighty on Saturday, getting married in Bangers on Thursday, honeymooning on Samui.......
Once we're back home here, I shan't be logging on to the Forum much, as I'll have my very own Thai wife to keep me warm at night and my whoring days will probably be at an end.....so RO will have to find another opponent to cross verbal swords with. I suggest the ole Clit Commander might be a suitable candidate.
