Aug 19th is the supposed opening date. As I understand it, it's owned by the BKT (Bahn Kanom Thai-Music/DVD/Books store. ) people...
Heard their uniforms will be fairly uninspired: black pants, white shirts, black ties. No live music but at least a bar with a full liquor license.

I have been in BKK many times, and have been "ripped-off" many times - mea culpa, mea culpa, mea culpa. The problem is that I am in my 60's and do not know how to deal with the multitude of beautiful girls around me. I drink too much Guinness and then become financially silly. Can some kind person please point me in the direction of a place where I might meet older ladies (30 -40). Maybe then I won't be so silly the next time I go to BKK which is soon.

i will miss you by 1 week. I will be in bkk 10/13 to 10/28 & probably 12/13 - 1/13.
you can find 30 to 40 all over - from the beergarden in the afternoon to thermae in the very early am.
that age group can be a little shop-worn though.......
i suggest cutting down on the guiness if being a big spender bothers you.

you earned your money; so if you want to be "financially silly" - go for it!
going to bkk is all about having a good time - so whatever turns you on.
as long as you are happy at the end of the evening - it was money well spent!

You'll want to buy your tix in advance. They were planning on not selling tickets at the door but the owner wants to pack the place.
