You really shouldn't cast aspertions about other's knowledge or expertise unless you are sure of your facts.
I have actually been to Hong Kong. I have also been to some of the World's largest Chinatowns or other large concentrations of Chinese, in Vancouver, Toronto, LA, Boston, Seattle, etc. I have been eating Chinese food in England since I was 6 and most of it has been in restaurants run by Hong Kong Chinese.
I have also visited and eaten the local cuisine of most European countries, particularly Italy and France. Having also visited all 6 states of New England, Florida (twice), Seattle, LA (Olympics) I am well enough qualified to pass judgement on burgers, as they are not a complicated food. I have eaten at all the chain burgers, McD's, BK's, Wendy's, Denny's etc, plus stuff from independent outlets like diners. However, I try and avoid eating junk food unless there is no other convenient alternative.
In England, I have dined at 1, 2 & 3 star Michelin Restaurants. You might know that the London Chinese restaurant mentioned in this thread (Hakkasan) has one Michelin star. So, Mr Clever clogs, presumably you'll now tell us that only a Chinese is qualified to pass judgement on Chinese food, eh? Perhaps you'll be emailing Michelin to give them your little treatise on this.
One of the foremost experts at rating restaurants over here is Egon Ronay. He happens to be Hungarian, so what does he know about anything? He should stick to commenting only on Hungarian Goulash, eh?
If you find it impossible to make that little leap of cognisance to accept that sometimes it is credible that a well travelled person who is a bon viveur, or a gourmand can sometimes make a better judgement than some local inhabitants, then I will be wasting my time trying to convince you further. Others have mentioned correctly that one's opinions on food, are subjective, but you are unable to be objective. One man's meat is another man's poisson (sic).
Hmmmm...the Michelin stars ? You did not mean the Michelin Tires people, right ? 5555555. I thought they just started to go out of Europe last December and coming over to NYC? No wonder Burger King and French Laundry are not on it yet.......55555. Ok, HJ, don't get so offended. Of course, I am subjective. Afterall, we are on BKK Tongiht and you are in Thailand (no?), a country of non-objective reality. Ask your TG's monk, he will explain it to you.

How often can you book a stunner for the whole day and night, take them out to 5 star hotel for dinner, bring them back to 5 star hotel for night cap, shag them all night ( with her admiring you like you are the savior, the king, the prince, the knight on the white horse ( or black MBZ) ), send her away in the morning with her quizzing " I come tongiht, ok ?" and all for less than a fancy dinner in a fanny restaurant (by yourself) in farangland ? Dare I say this in response to your very adequate observation: I think ANYTHING can be posted here these days as an interesting topic - just to be hammered and destroyed a couple of pages later, again with bros constantly hitting each other over the head. This is one of the reasons that I no longer take much notice of the board and I must say that it is a sad fact. But I cant stay away completely, enter once in a while and again become aware of the constant battles......
So that means that all topics about LOS and it´s main ASS-ets are actually covered now and nothing new and interesting can be added??
Well - fight on guys, I am now up to 5 visits a year and soon have opened a new business office in the Kingdom. Thus keep collecting all the great experiences "live" instead. Sure would like to share more here but feel almost "afraid" that if anything is posted it will immediately be a base for flaming. So we´ll see.......

Given that bar girls don't generally like the food in the
Oriental I have to wonder.
Generally if they know they are being taken to a posh venue BG's will stuff themselves with real food first (somtam) and just pick at whatever you order for them.
My regular BG ladyfriend was baffled as to why some guy gave her Bht 500 to sit and watch him eat a McDonalds one evening. She didn't eat anything, just fiddled with her phone apparently.
The waiters will figure she's a BG within seconds. Sometimes the girls actually tell the waiter.

I would not say you are wrong at the above statement, in fact it is true and goes for many "bar" girls I suppose. But there are shades between white and black here as everywhere else and perhaps I missed out to write that the better places goes for a certain kind of TG. Definitely not all - agree 100% on that. I think you know what I mean though since you are experienced to the scene.
But MY taste for a woman is the one that can be a more "up-grade" partner. Not always easy to find but I have been succesful from time to time. It is all an illusion anyway - right?! So why not try and fill the show with what one prefer?!
As you say - I would never go to a posh place with a lady from Toy bar..... enough said perhaps.....?!

Pesumably we're talking here about girls from places like Riva and one or two bars on Soi 33 where the girls have some idea.
The idea of taking something straight from Patpong, Nana or Soi Cowboy along for a posh night out in the oriental fills me with, well, er, amusement I suppose.
Too a Patpong girl to a medium standard rerstaurant once and she wasted no time telling the elderly English couple next to us what she did for a living. If the floor could have opened up I would have jumped.
