No! But think of the thousands of little words that got hurt in the proces. Jesus, how can one man speak so much and say so little. 
With Dirty Guru and Dieter you get the feeling they throw some random words in some random order against the screen when they make their posts. But atleast I get their meaning........... most of the times. This guy seems to speak perfect (to me) english and it is all pointless blabbering.
I have a suggestion to the powers that be. Let's make a new forum next to the Z forum. Call it the RO forum. All of us get appointed to post 1 post on a certain day in that forum. (Hey!! We all have to suffer!) The content of those posts should be something in the line of : "RO is an asshole!" (Make your own variation, be creative.)
One post a day should keep him out of our hair for the rest of the day. I guess he would fill that forum within a month, so donate generously to Dark Knight, so he can buy a new server.
Atleast we have to give him the credit for choosing such a well fitting name. Repeat Offender. He repeats and repeats and repeats and repeats and repeats and repeats. And he never stops repeating.
I have a vision of a bunny with a drum. Can somebody pull that battery out of his ass??

Whist I do find RO's postings to be too long winded to read in detail he made one point that should be kept in mind.
Do not confuse frendship with hospitality.
My business takes me all over the globe and I have found that in many countries I go to, my client's employees spend a lot of time showing me local sites, having me sample local foods, etc. This is not because they want to be my 'friend'; in 30 days I will be gone and they will never see me again; it is because their culture demands a degree of hospitality to a visitor (and possibly they are proud of thier communities and want to show it).
When I go to a US client the attitude of the employees is 'there is your cube, get the job done, and do not bother me.' In many cases they do not care if I sleep in the street and eat at the Salvation Army each night; I pretty much have to find my own way around. (there are exceptions of course, usually people who still honor the culutre from the 'Old Country').
It all boils down to hospitality.
On the issue of respect:
True respect is earned, any thing else is civility. It seems to me the comments being made on this thread do not refer to respect, but to civility.
That being said, at the end of the day you should show civility to everyone you meet (including BGs) until they prove they do not deserve it..

You wanted a debate on the meaning of respect, but only if you could arbitrate in some quasi-academic manner. My point was clear from the first post.
I took you to task on what you posted, and you retreated replying in the same asinine way. So I ask you again, in more detail, but again.... Hence the repetition.
If you put your head above that parapet, then you should expect some return fire, but you prefer to cower.

In Asia, traditionally, being a working"professional "in the business world, you are expected to do a lot of "after hours" PR work with you clients such as : dinner, karaoke, night clubs........etc. It's part of their culture that business is only given to either " families", "friends" or "associatess". It's called "quan-si". You spend an inordinary amount of time doing seeminly "unproductive" stuffs to cultivate "quan-si" with little expectation of some immediate results. In the West, where "efficiency" is emphasized, you bang out your deal within the confine of the office environment. Terms are strictly a function of "profitability" to each. After deal is done, everyone shakes hand and go home to their wives and kids. You do not go whore mongering around with your client. It's not the norm. You deal with each other on the "professional" level, very little on the "personal" level. Does the above strike some familiarity with how Asian p4p are more prone to do "LT" and the Western p4p are strictly "ST" ? It's more cultural than anything. Asians like to know you much better before they let you into their "circle". Therefore, all this "LT" cultivation of "quan-si" ( relationship, loosely translated) wheras the Westerners like to get to the bottome ASAP, therefore the "ST" syndrome.
Disclaimers : Never earned any sociology degree. Tend to generalise a lot. Stereotyping of any people is purely incidental/accidental. Mostly nonesens because of pure boredom.
