Most loan sharks calculate that interest will keep increasing unless all money is paid back - so even if she pays the interest RIGHT NOW, it will keep increasing.
Most likely 'no' may be the best answer, if she already borrowed the money from the loan shark.

Sad, love Thailand but the number of money suckers that pray on a guy's emotions, sad. It is one thing when somebody at the airport offers you a cab ride with a broken meter or some jerkoff in a tuktuk takes you to a gem shop on the way to a temple but playing with soft peoples' hearts is sad.
Having said that, my fave GIK told me of her cousin outside of Roi Et who has a farang husband who visits every 2 months for a week or two. She sends her Thai husband to his mother's house until the farang goes back, sucks the cash out of the farang while he is there and then back comes the Thai husband.

Imho,
Right now many gentleman clubs in Bangkok have chicks that practicing "best practice of how to scam customer", like last time, in the middle of busy day one of Piano chicks call me asking help for money, and the other day one of new comers in Resort Square try to scam me also.
