Because if you pay barfine, then you have committed to going with them.
And also, the girls are not *supposed* to meet customers after hours. In Tahaitian Queen in Pattaya, I was talking to a BG at 7:15pm, her shift was 1:00pm to 7:30pm - ripe for meeting her after she finished work. Under no conditions would she meet me after hours, as she said if "afternoon lady" does this, they will be fired. I can't blame the bar for this policy, especially for afternoon workers.

Not necessarily. I never commit myself to just one girl. It normally means, that they can come out with me, and look for other girls, and if I don't find anyone better, then, she is it.

Let me run my theory past the bros.
M2N is a freelancer place (my theory). The owner lets freelancers hang out in there; the deal being - you tell the johns that the bar fine is 400 baht. the bar gets 200 & you get 200. I let you hang-out here but you get no salary.

well, that's not accurate, it's more profit to the bars. And if they take credit cards, all the better, more points for me! 
don't know if paying her barfine will give her better salary, but if ST'd her, that's for sure.
I prefer fresh meat, especially seafood, don't you?
