On my last trip I BF'd one of the NEP girls a couple of times while in town. She had to borrow an ID card from her girlfriend at the same club to give the the Nana Hotel security desk since, she said later, she didn't have one. I asked her why she didn't have any ID and she simply giggled and said "I don't know." My immediate fear was, of course, "oh hell -- she used to be a guy and her ID probably has her 'former' self on it". However, having then spent a significant amount of time investigating further, I have concluded that she is, and always was, one of the fairer sex.
The lack of an ID does concern me a bit, though. Any insights?

E1) She has papers but don't want to leave a papertrail.
E2) She has no money to buy papers and that is why she works there to get some money. Chicken and egg story. She needs money to earn money.

My guess is that she's underage.....
OR she is trying to conceal her true identity for some reason (possibly ripped the mamasan off in a previous bar)
Either way, someone to avoid.

It could simply be that she was orphaned and raised outside of the present system...
I know this is possible from personal experience.
Eitherway, I would not just dismiss her as easy as that.

Hmmmm; interesting theories so far. As far as any HIV potential keeping her out of a bar, we can rule that one out -- she was working at a NEP bar (Rainbow, I think). Definitely not underage, either; I'm guessing about 21 or 22, 23 possibly.
Might be an illegal alien; she spoke Thai but her features were more Cambodian. Taller and fairer complected, though.
Oh, well. What's a visit to BKK without a few enigmas along the way?

Girls with no ID: here are the few experiences I had:
1) a girl from Laos in Pattaya
2) a girl from Biergarden, had her bag stolen the previous week, so paper were not yet renewed (i did not believe her but when I saw her again later, she then showed a proper ID card, so story was true)
3) A freelancer in Pattaya, she told me that...she forgot to get her ID from an hotel the day before, I did not really believe her until I followed her to this hotel and...again the story was true! (Guard was laughting at her because apparently this one is used to forget her ID everywhere LOL)
So maybe its not necessary to avoid "at all cost" a girl who has no ID, if she seem to be Ok and also if you are staying at a place where they call your room prior to leave the girl go then you are covered enought IMHO.
A girl can be a looney and forget her ID sometime and still be nice to be with
