Is Thai traditional dancer considered as a decent job? or does it look like a low job such as night club dancer?
I'm asking about Thai people's view, not views of other nationals.

while I've never met anyone who did it full-time as a job, I suppose there must be people out there who make their living from it
Nongnoot Garden near Pattaya might be an example, where they have some folks that do the traditional dances a few times a day for the tourist shows
surely they wouldn't be considered low morally, but their wages may not be very much

My LTGF does it. She learned as a kid and did into high school. She also was captain of her HS cheerleading team.
During her short time in the bar scene, she was the most preferred dancer and she did nude dancing too. When we go to Lava, she is the hit of the club and is very very good at hip-hop and reggae.
She does have low morals when I am around.
