Great song. I heard it and thought of myself in my last relationship. I was the agressor, called, etc. I think women get bored when they dont know what they want and you care about them too much. They get bored like we do.
My current relationship I made sure I was getting a good person and a friend. More importantly she picked me up. She also knows my former gf that did me wrong and shes nervous that I might go back. Remember, you need an ace card to keep them motivated and in check. Now, my current tgf is a friend and calls me more then I do her.
It sucks the other way around. I think everyone has felt to hurt that LOS can impose.

Another thought... OK it's a Friday and a guy thinks I'm going out tonight and find a woman to spend the night with. Maybe the guy can pull it off and maybe he can't. On the other hand, at closing time even a fat broad can find some guy to f*** her if that's what she wants The women to have a certain degree of control in this arena. If it weren't the case we might not be flocking to SEA as we do.

Talking to my regular BG one night I mentioned living alone in my home country. She just shrugged and said if I wanted a woman I just had to go to a bar and get one - afterall I had money. I tried to explain that bars in my country were not the same as in Thailand and it was not that simple. I know she thought I was lying.
I agree with ftumch, much rather be the guy - I think it was in the movie The Goodbye Girl where as the mother prepares for a night out the daughter is reading out that "it says here that at your age you are statistically more likely to be taken hostage by terrorists than to find true love "
